Another solid week. $35,000 of Premium Verisign Regs ending Feb 27.
As with with the prior figures...tracking premium words only (no n/nn/nnn or l/ll/lll .tv).
New Premium Regs (9 regs, $35,000)
mortgage.tv $10,000 (individual)
france.tv $7,500 (individual)
espana.tv $5,000 (individual)
nine.tv $5,000 (nine.com)
funny.tv $2,000 (by Hollywood Licensing)
artisan.tv $500 (Artisan Communications)
bull.tv $500 (the Red Bull network! lol )
flux.tv $500 (Cellcast UK)
tribe.tv $500 (Tribe Pictures)
Premium Drops (5 drops, $9,000)
forum.tv $5,000
nerds.tv $1,000
rafting.tv $1,000
revolution.tv $1,000
wellbeing.tv $1,000
Net Regs = $26,000
Notes:
1. Relatively meaningful pickup in mortgage.tv ($10K)
That leaves loan.tv ($10K), and loans.tv ($100K) as the remaining major unregged financial services product names.
creditcard.tv in the hands of online.tv (06 expiry), creditcards.tv is the hands of brokerage.tv (07 expiry). Mortgages.tv is with a UK mortgage firm.
2. Several of the super-premium names that briefly disappeared last week and caused all the hubbub are back: real.tv, cable.tv, beyond.tv, showbiz.tv, network.tv, your.tv
3. This list is not officially released by Verisign. It is derived from changes in what is available for sale.
4. Premium Names above $1K per year are negotiable in price. Nobody knows the extent of discounts given and how they might interact with multi-reg "discounts." (the standard multiyear discounts are not really discounts; you are just getting credit for paying early; time value of money, etc).
Cheers
