$30 Logo Competition - FINANCECHANNEL.TV

My second comp but this time we are dealing with my flagship .tv domain - so let your imaginations run free.

This website will be developed in conjunction with leading finance firms and as such I am looking for a very (creative and) corporate look which will be used on letterhead and website.

Comp closes in 7 days time but I reserve the right to wind up on 24 hours notice if I am satisfied with an earlier entry so get your entries in early.

Please do not enter clipart etc type entries. It is very important that this is an original logo. I don't want any TM concerns. If anyone notices that any entries are questionable re their originality please PM me with appropriate reference re similar logos so I can look into further.

Comments from onlookers are welcomed.

re slogans. I will add later to winning design but feel free to add one that you've come up with if you feel it complements your design.

The website will be an online tv channel so I am looking for the type of logo you would expect to be used by a modern advertising company or television network c.f. a stockbroking firm.

I am looking for a modern look and feel (i.e not as conservative as traditional corporate logos) - with vibrant colours, maybe lime green? Ideally the logo should be about 1/2 the size of jontalbot's first entry.

I don't mind if the .tv part is secondary to the words "finance channel".

Waiting to see a few more entries and I'll let you know who is on the right track with their thinking before I get anyone to start revisions.

edit: i just read your post above. i have these logos shown really large. once again, they are 100% vector and i can resize them to whatever size you need. also, i will try them with lime green and see what you think. thanks.

that's about the right length, can be up to another half as tall again.

I like the style of Miss Lee's (congrats on your first post by the way) the best so far. The metallic colours are closer to the edgey corporate look I am looking for.

One tip is that any images used should have some relationship to the content of the site. [Ahh UMXCA you have just done this whilst I was posting]

Guetizo, if you read this can you post a watermarked copy of the logo you did for anthill ventures which I loved and was a good example of the sort of logo I am looking for in terms of both colour and creativity for financechannel.tv. Creative but corporate.

EDIT: Hold the phone, I just found it on guetizo's homepage - see http://pvdesign.com.sapo.pt/portfolio/antpile.png. That was a classy logo.

Thank you for the quick f/b & the kind congrats. The graphic element in mine is inspired by the typical graph/chart used to measure financial income or growth while mirroring the 'F' in 'financial'. Should I go for something more obvious or incorporate an additional element to make that more readily apparent? I welcome your thoughts.
