$30 Logo Competition - FINANCECHANNEL.TV

My second comp but this time we are dealing with my flagship .tv domain - so let your imaginations run free.

This website will be developed in conjunction with leading finance firms and as such I am looking for a very (creative and) corporate look which will be used on letterhead and website.

Comp closes in 7 days time but I reserve the right to wind up on 24 hours notice if I am satisfied with an earlier entry so get your entries in early.

Please do not enter clipart etc type entries. It is very important that this is an original logo. I don't want any TM concerns. If anyone notices that any entries are questionable re their originality please PM me with appropriate reference re similar logos so I can look into further.

Comments from onlookers are welcomed.

Thanks for the new entries however this is not feedback yet - whilst I'm checking in from time to time I am waiting on a few more entries first -

Ruffio - I like the graph you used in your first design as a concept but the colours need some work. The font generally needs an overhaul but again the first font you used is the best of the three.

thanks guys - I am moving house today so I have to pack the computer up I realise that some of you are waiting for feedback which I will get to as soon as I get a chance. Ethayne - I note you are going out of town - my feedback from your original entry hasn't changed though. Tomorrow night (36 hrs approx) I will look to narrow the field to my favourite 3 entries and look to give those entrants a chance for final revisions or submit "as is" for judging.

hi guys, its 2PM AEST here. My home comp isn't online until Thursday night (Australia time) and I am off to Sydney from tomorrow until Thursday so before I leave tomorrow a.m I will pick the finalists (9AM AEST) . Those finalists can elect to make further revisions before I get back from Sydney on Thursday or simply submit "as is". I will decide the winner when I return on Thursday.

Feedback (sorry for the delay - I hate moving!)

UMXCA - Thanks for all you entries. Re your first entry after my last feedback can you describe the image you have used to me - i.e the shape surrounding the $ sign. re your second entry I like the first entry better, particularly the font.

PATRICK - I'm not sure the image is right. I'm not sure how to explain this other than I am looking for a "cleaner" image. Hpefully that comment is clearer for you when you look at some of the images that I have given positive feedback about.

Will - Font looks good - not sure about the dots under finance channel though. $ sign image works ok.

CubeChris - Again the font is good but the image is just too basic.

Guetizo - looks good. Not sue about the relevance of the star to finance though. Have you gone for a generic logo?

def1 - Not a bad entry. Looks a little unbalanced to me though so not quite there

Ruffio - the firt font you used is by far the best of the 4. I like the brighter if the two image choices better but I don't think that any of the 4 fonts complement the style of the logo you have chosen or the colour.

Sammyloski. Quite like it conceptually. The coins look a little like gold pieces to me though (rather than money).

Guetizo - I like the other one better.

Just so you know, the finalists are currently Ethayne, Sammiloski and Guetizo in no particular order.

thanks umxca - I liked your previous ntry better but the image was a little too subtle for me. Finalists are Ethayne, Sammiloski and Guetizo in no particular order. Guys if you want to do any more work to your entries you have until 9pm AEST on Thursday.

If anyone wants to use Fried Chicken's SX background lettering I have discussed this with Fried Chicken and he has kindly agreed to let you do so. I really liked that idea so raps to Fried Chicken for the original thought and generosity.

EDIT: No colour changes or revisions are required of any finalists. Completely up to you guys from here as to improvements (if any) you would like to make in light of the feedback I have given to date.

Koncepts, that's a v. nice entry but any reason why you couldn't get it in within the required timeframe?

Frankly speaking I am a freelancer and have only one PC. which is not a high performance PC So due to work in Photoshop and illustrator simultaneously My PC's SMPS got burnt and i missed the time frame. I will be with your decision whether to consider my entry or not. You have all the rights.

Also thanks for the concern to let me share my problem.
