Hi there,

I have noticed that 3 keyword domains get no type in traffic. Especially when they are long ones. All the premium ones are gone and I cant really understand why people are buying 3 worders for parking. They are registering like: MesotheliomaLawyerSettlement.com and stuff, some of them try to sell those on Forum too. Unless it has 50K exact it wont produce any visitors. And in addition, 3 words have to sum up to 12 max. 14 signs. On the other hand 2 words could have 1K exact and they would produce Type ins. But again 2 words have to be under 12 signs.

Long domains can get type-in. As said above, fewer visits but potentially high-paying clicks.
Also, people park with an intention to sell. And there are people who buy keyword domains not for type-in but SEO.

I couldnt disagree more. Traffic is what gives domain the premium sign. not SEO. if you type phrases in Google you will notice that the SEO of the domain name is not hidden in the domain itself. Its relevancy of the site and keywords. The times when people were buying domains because of SEO is long gone. Better to invest in Backlincks.the only reason for keyword domains is because they are more easy to remember than hjsgjhfgjhdgsasjhcs.com

This is where the secret tricks to the 3 word domains never come out. I have read on forums where people can get natural type in traffic related to these high cpc domains without posting a link. Even in other cases gotta remember some places if the link is relevant they will let you post it to drive traffic to the parked domain still.

Thats true, I just made an experiment with 3 word domains and they get some traffic. Sorry baseballworld, I play fair and will not under no circumstances place the link. I guess its more of a black hat technique. And its not legal. When the things are not legal, I simply stay away from them. If you make legally moral compromises in life, you could end up making forgeries of money. Its the same style, just cheating with traffic people find more elegant. Its like comparing sedatives and alcohol :)

Problem with 3 word .com domains is the traffic source. The more time goes on the more type-in traffic is slowly dying. Everything from Google to mobile users are slowly killing type-in traffic. Most people nowadays simply search Google for the site or use a bookmark.

I definitely don't advise doing any of that black hat stuff just stating what I have read about. I mean there are a lot of other methods people use that I consider border line. like writing the url on an image and waiting for people to type it in. Just some of the ways I read how people try to get these bigger domains to turn the profits I guess.

Biggie :) i was thinking like pure type ins with XXX - XXXX exact searches and longer than 15 signs. They dont get any, unless they are typos. I have 3 word Typos and they are earning pretty well. I even call domain a typo, if there is singular/plural word difference :) But pardon me MesotheliomaAttorneysMiami is getting like 0 per year. :)

I agree with you, it does not matter what combination of words you use with the term "domain", Godaddy.com is the omnipresent figure on the first 10 results in google, always!!!
What is the relation between the phrase "go daddy" and "domain"? Ask google.

Ecuadorbusiness Google monitors the reputation of the site. The market is fed up with "mini sites" which dont deserve the name actually. They are set sometimes by people, who just want the high paying keywords in their Adwords. So I guess if the site has Adwords more incorporated in the site it could be ok. But I am personally "more fund of" the sites which dont use Adwords, but Adsense.
