We all know it's coming. Dec 21, 2012.

How are you going to prepare? When do you think people will start going wacko!?

Are you scared?
Are you the "Cant Wait" type?
When will people start getting worried? June 2012, Sept 2012? or when it first snows?

Will you stick with domaining regardless?

Let's talk about 2012..

I'm just wondering has anyone else thought that maybe the Mayans believed it was silly to make time periods past 2012 because they knew they weren't going to be around and that someone from today would add to it? :P

It is even silly for a Christian to believe in this because it says in the bible that man doesn't know the time/day.

Could this be media hype to sell a few books and movies (remember the year 2000, Y2K, etc)?

Please don't buy into this stuff and spread the fear mongering. Instead, improve your relationships with your family, friends and community, donate to charity, volunteer, sing a song, learn a new language, anything but this.

We are all going to die eventually. Make the most of it as if you didn't know the date.

Every minute you spend reliving the past or worrying about the future is time spent depriving yourself of living in the present.

I agree.

You can also add that nine tenths of what people worry about never happens.

Of course one should take reasonable precautions in case of emergency situations,
which ironically are often things we don't worry about but take us completely by
surprise. Basic supplies such as non-perishable food, water, first-aid kit, ect.
in case you're cut off because of snow, flooding, or whatever the situation may be
are always a good idea at all times.

I don't believe in the 2012 End of the World theories, but there would be potential
security issues in any country if mass panic starts to set in, triggered by some
random event. Of course my concerns may just fall into that nine tenths category. :guilty:

The smartest thing I've ever read about all that Mayans predictions is that Mayan beleived that the whole world is the place where they lived. They didn't know about other continents etc. (don't know if it's true - it's just something I read)

So The End will come, but it would be something on the Yucatan Peninsula (locally), but not in the whole world.

And guys I beleive in something like that, cause currently the most important ecologic problem is where? Yes Gulf of Mexico. And it's just the beginning.

IMO

BTW. HowToSurvive.TV is for sale. PM your offers if interested :)

Remember the doom and gloom of Y2K?

The internet was posed to melt down.

Seems like we're still here, more or less.

Yep a load of bull, time travel will be created in 2012 and a time traveller went back and told the Mayans everything up to 2012, so that is why it ended because the time traveller knew nothing after 2012.

There we go see perfectly responbile.
