Hey Friends,
I am new to domain business and I have been following namepros for past few days and reading many threads and are being helpful.. But I have few questions, if some one can help..

1. When I buy a domain that I want to sell, should I get hosting service too or just domain purchase would be fine?
2. Which domain extensions are fast moving.. I knew .com is 1st and what else other than .com is good...

Plz advice..

Thanks...

1. no hosting needed
2. any other tld can be good, depending on keyword in front of the extension.
and when it fits the extension, then it's good, when it doesn't, it ain't.

Thank You..

So I will have this priority..

1. com
2. net
3. org
4. ?
5. ?
6. ?
7.?

What can be next to org?

Also which site would be best to buy? Godaddy?

there is only #1.

everything else is subjective the keyword or category

one may choose a .org over a .net or a .net over a .info or a info over a .org or a .us if it sounds better than a .biz.

as for registrars:
domainers use a variety of sites to register names, including gd, enom, namecheap, dynadot, fabulous, moniker, uniregistry, etc. you make have to shop around for best registration prices.

Until you gain some experience, I very strongly suggest you only deal with ".com"

Invest in .COM only for now. Keep doing research, reading this forum and other sites:

Domaining.com
NameBio.com
DNJournal.com

Thank You all for Your kind care..

If I buy a 4 letter domain .com, it is worth?

Because I see most 4 letter domains sold in past few days... Does it mean if we go with 3 or 4 letters domain name, its good?

Please advice.
Thanks

Stick to .COM, if the name is too nice then .net can be considered. .ORG only for certain names. .DE and .CO.UK are strong markets, but it totally depends on the keyword. Stick to .com until you find out your space. 4 Letter are a trend if you choose the best 4 letters even if the trend dies down you can sell, but if you choose the worst 4 letters following the trend you may get burned when the trend goes down.
