.mobi $14.99 for mobi registration on Answerable.com, with $8.99 displayed!!

When you registered .mobi names on Answerable.com,
it will charge you $14.99 for each name, though it displays $8.99.

I created a support ticket, here is the replay.

The reason you are charged USD 14.99 for .mobi registrations is that the .mobi promotional offer ended on March 31.

Since these domain names were registered on April 1, 2007 the normal price has been charged.

However, the website answerable.com still displays the promo price instead of the normal price. Therefore, I am getting in touch with the sales team to investigate this issue and a possible refund for you.

I can not guarantee the same as its at the discretion of the sales team.

I think it's time to say GOODBYE to Answerable.com!

That's pathetic...

It's unethical that they screw up and hold you accountable -- really goes to show you how little some registrars really care about their customers. Not very good business practices IMHO. In my case, I didn't register my second domain name until 3 years after my first. I had a good experience with that registrar and now have 278 domain names with them. If they had done this to me when I had 1 domain name... Well, I sure as hell would have registered the 277 with someone else :hehe:
