$12.68 Yesterday / $1.27 Today!

Just wondering why this always happens to me.

Yesterday I made $12.68 in revenue on my site
Today I only made a lousy $1.27 a little less clicks but 1000 more page impressions

Does this happen to other people?

It always seems to happen to me, I will make over $10 one day and the next day I am battling to reach the $1 mark!

I'm still far from 10$ per day but on my adult sites I've seen something similar: few days nothing and than in one day 200-300$

Its hard nowadays for webmsters but some earn more per day like even $100

It happens all the time. It depends on what kind of ads are being shown on ur website & how interested your visitors are to click them.

It can be frustrating, by advertisers are always changing how much they will pay, and when daily budgets run out the lower paying ads are shown. Just be thankful for the good days, and hope they drag you through the worse ones.

What's weirder.. I was getting tons of low value clicks on one site and none on the other.. now I get clicks on the site I wasn't getting any on and none on the other..!!

I liken it to waitressing. Some days you make good tips others days nothing.
The bottom line is now I look at the average per month, or per day. My goal is to steadily increase earnings each month. It also depends on how much is invested, are you spending more than earning? I have heard having just one excellent premium name that either increases in value overtime or a high traffic name is better than having lots of okay names. There is sometimes the mysterious traffic that ceases and the .88 cent .info weird hypen name that gets a $4.00 click from out of left field......

I think it happens to all of us..

I think we can regulate it a bit more with blogs.. the adsense seems to feed off the keywords in the blog post title in my experience.. good keywords = better clicks

I just look at 30 day rolling & don't stress over fluctuations, except for the first few days after making a major change.

Very low paying ads (Better known as Ads of MFA sites like 8Topsites.net etc.) should be blocked using competitive ad filter for better results.

The price on adsense people click is not always good paying, I have had alot of clicks that give 0.00 and it sucks.

These might be invalid clicks or clicks on Public Service Ads.

I just started put Adsense on my Site. No too much traffic yet. Get $0.15 only in first 3 days

I am doing really well this month, averaging $6 a day .... thats alot for me!

I have had the same problem. However, it seems the sites that have been around longer are a bit more stable than the newer ones. Sometimes I get a big surprise and see a HUGE dif but usually it is within a + or - 30% range.
