Questions on AdSense.

My new site http://www.boardertalk.com I just put my adsense up, and I have so far 230 impressions and 3 clicks in my first day so far, and I have no money made yet. How many impressions do you need to make money? Or do you need so many clicks to go along with it?

I'm a little confused on how adsense works, I tried looking around and they dont give a to detailed explanation.

Google pays for clicks, not impressions. Refering to the ads at the top of the page, I think your "set up" of ads on ads is not very good for a high click through.

What would you recommend I do?

Put them at the bottom of the page?

I think your fine with the google ads at the top. I would move the other set of ads to the bottom or place google ads there as well.

If you look on my main page do you know why its putting a double ad up top? I only have teh 768x90 ad.

On the other pages it doesnt show up, but the spacing is messed up.

I think he said he got three clicks as well so that shouldve made him some money, maybe they were PSAs? Or maybe they werent worth anything!

some people says they got soem cents without clicks if you search in this forum you can findout
but according to your question it shows to me you given clicks
on the first day only you got three clicks and no money that means they are invalid clicks
if you clicked then please go and contact to google if you not clicked then it is good but take necessary steps and it is your account

Could have been PSA ads that were clicked, they will show up as clicks in your account, but you won't get any money for them.

Also , you shouldn't have them in header/footer on forums, since it is against AS TOS to have them on none content pages, ie: login/registration pages
