discuss 10x Your Money In Domains Or Crypto Currency?

A lot of domain investors also invest in crypto currency it seems as of late. I usually feel pretty confident that a domain I carefully acquire today will be a 10x+ my investment including holding time. If say, I were to buy bitcoin today, is it feasible that i would get 10x my money?

In December 1998, we had a big correction. I mean stocks were crashing right and left. Many panic stricken idiots, especially the Wall Street brokers, started shorting the market, or dumping everything cheap.

Fortunately I stayed long and enjoyed 1999.

Crypto is in a bubble. I can only wonder how long this bubble will last before an overdue correction. I mean remember that crypto industry leaders are all saying we're in for price crash. Also that there are few working crypto products. All these prices are inflated with no actual usage!

But Bitcoin is not going anywhere, and Ripple has it's place in the emerging crypto world. Im not worried the slightest.......Crypto is here to stay and everyone just throws the word bubble around so often. You know they never thought we would pay our bills "online with our digital online bank account either".......

For those that can't see Bitcoin at $100k or more............many people "general Public " are unaware what the most expensive stock is too and would never guess the price......

Berkshire Hathaway Inc. Class A $ 297,820.00......... wonder who all the blubbers were on that back in that day If a stock can do it, bitcoin/ crypto has the possibility to it. anything is possible....

Small short term corrections take place yes....long term..crypto will continue to rise

Do not confuse stocks, with cryptocurrencies long, or short, Berkshire produces revenue, pays a dividend etc... when it comes to cryptocurrency the value is in the function of the coin, and how many people use it. Right now it is a traders market, I would say there is a small percentage of holders in coins outside of BTC, and ETH other than the founders. There is a massive movement trading these coins back, and forth, and doing very well at it.

To be honest the space is become very saturated, but new money is keep things afloat for now, once people get burned and that money flow stops, then we will see the cream rise to the top, and everything else will go the way of enron.

Very could be, I sure hope so,XRP was a great buying price, and if it dips into the 70's 80's I might try to buy some more, but I have had fun trading it, because I can buy a nice allotment of coins, and when it moves, it makes a big difference. I have traded my position to be a free ride now with XRP, so I will enjoy the ride, but people need to always take a look at the coins outstanding, and the market cap. The thing that makes BTC so attractive is the 17M in circulation, the halving point coming out, and the 21M limit. Most cryptocurrency traders are probably males between 20-40 years old, and they don't see much function in trading btc, so these other coins are getting a lot of play, but when they tend to sell, they put that money back into btc when they go to sleep at night.

Xrp is attractive only because of cheap price, none understand technology whether blockchains or tangles...etc

However, it is was a big joke , frank ugly manipulation, to take part of coins to escrew to limit the supply and increase the price!

Oh I get confused between xrp and xlm. I know mccaleb left one for the other. I guess xlm is safe since he's there but now xrp is scary.

If I had to buy one, I'd go for xlm until he leaves the coin.

It’s all across the board, we were talking about this a few days ago when the bottom falls out. XRP has held up well today, but this is to be expected can’t appreciate by billions on a daily basis. Bitcoin big holders writing those optioncontracts, and locking in those multi million dollar gains?

Looks like a healthy correction, still a lot of traders in this space, should bring a new round of money that has been on the sidelines.
