Nice sale
Right name, right time, right place
before the CHIP craze, this is why 4L's had value
Maybe the original owner Yuchang Tractor bought it back to revive the company.it is and was a CHIP
and bought it because of it is a CHIP
additionally looked very nice like yacht
And so has additional western meaning
Sold for $2,400 on Sedo January 2016. Sold today for $9,995.

where did you get the sales price from?
I thought BrandBucket never negotiated on price. Did you lower it down from $9,995 before the sale or did they make a lower offer? BrandBucket has a nice racket going. They made $2,500 for doing nothing. That's insane. This name is so niche specific that it had to sell through direct navigation.Show attachment 51327
Purchase price:$7995
Commissions $2400
Logo design $100
proceeds:$5495
minus fees $5478

So are you saying that was a type in?thats not my result of this sale
as domain was unlisted at brandbucket at the time
and showing a 404 error instead of a cute landing page
shows to me
landing pages doesn't matter
when an end user wants a domain
and shows to me
"if you want all the chips, don't send traffic to somebody elses landing page"
So are you saying that was a type in?
so why didn't the buyer contact you directly?what elese?
my account was closed
and the domain traffic showed 404 error
it also also possible that an end user contacted BB and asked them to locate a domain for a yachting website and they recommended your one. Either way, BB has proven once again they are the authority in domain sales to end users.
