@Ted.T - try a different browser. Got mine to work on Opera, where Firefox kept giving me that same error.

Well fingers crossed there's no gotcha - just did 92 domains in one go! The cart was reminiscent of DomFam - I had to click "Remove" on each of the extra years, and they bumped it to two years for $31.98, my original cart total was outrageous.

How many people have COMPLETED the transfer process? My test was DirectNIC which does not support fast transfer out, unless I ask cust service. Did more from nSilo, nCheap, gandi, rebel, BigRock, will keep updating.

PS the first three out of DirectNIC at least say "PendingTransfer" in whois

Thanks, Opera indeed works. That's strange :)

This post is already seen by 3K+ peoples.
Maybe it will reach 15K+ in next few days.
It's time to post on some others big forums about this. :xf.smile:
As a curiosity I made a simple search on google for FREETRNSFEROCT and it showed this post together with a couple of CHINESE (!) blogs, or maybe boards. Taking in account the number of Chinese population in general and gtld domain owners in particular, I am wondering for how many days or hours will netsol really honour this promotion after they wake up in US / Monday morning timezone

So, initiated 30 transfers. It's a PITA to fill all the codes, FOA, etc. but I hope everything will be alright.

Did anyone confirm with NS about any hidden charges?

No, don't blame 1&1 they are kinda good for me so far and I was able to transfer at least 3 domain without a single support team person.

And here I tired to transfer one of name which I was dropping, all went smooth, no charges and anything, they send me an email to provide auth code, when I clicked at link and unbelievably here is what I have got,

Well, everyone has a different experience but I will never buy from 1&1 again even if they pay me. I chose not to renew and let the domain name expired. Even had auto-renew off. They still charged me for the renewal fee and sent my bill to a collection agency, which threatened me with legal action. Never had a registrar do it to me before. I've been with GoDaddy, Namecheap, Name, Register, Domain.com, etc. It's only with 1&1 that this happened to me. Good thing I'm in a different country so they can't sue me. LOL.

Update - whois shows completed three domains that had fast approve from the losing registrar, they are NOT showing in my NetSol account yet, and I am OK with that.

They have all been renewed for an additional year and the only charge to my placeholder credit card was a pending auth for $1 for each cart

Many more still have to get Auth Codes entered, wanted to make sure a few went through OK before plugging away at the rest. The UI is OK, kinda doing mine by priority so the search for a specific domain is very useful, then can focus on that one domain without a page of scrolling

Anyone else get this DELAYED email?

Woke up with 5 of the names actually showing up in my netsol account and when i look at the transfers they have a green checkmark next to those. Be patient.

Agree with you, it happened to me either about 4 maybe 5 years ago, they still charged me for the renewal fee even I had auto-renew off and they also told me on their email will sent my bill to a collection agency. Just like you, good thing I'm also from a different country so they can't sue me. They email me for 3 month and then stop emailing after that.

This is so unbelievable. Must be some bug. There should be a limit of domains per account

Nothing to worry, NetSol will refund the $1 to every one. :xf.smile:

It's true. :xf.smile:
They mailed to my business account's email.
Why don't try yourself?

Deal does seem to good to be true. It wouldn't surprise me if you guys all end up getting charged the transfer/renewal fee anyway. IMO, too risky to get your domains held hostage if something goes wrong.

I tried this. And i see
1-time Service Fee is FREE
Renewal is $15.99*

For 4 domains i see
Total: $63.96
$63.96 deferred* ( i do not know what it is)

Should i try this?

Remove renewal option from all domains.
They will automatically add 1 year free renewal with 1-time Service for free. :xf.smile:
