Has anyone tried to transfer domains from Dotster to Netfirms (or vice versa) using their codes? Seems to me a cheap way to add years. (About $3 for 2 years or so.)

it is impossible to transfer domains between netfirms/dostster/domain.com or any other of theri sister companies.
if its on any one of them, it'll block it on all others.

and at checkout you got to change each manually back to 1by1 and they update the cart for every change.. so in average a single domain registration can take upto 3 minutes .. so if you got 100 names, you better save 5 hours to do it... OMG

Last week, it took me about an hour to register 25 names on my cell phone. It's soooo aggravating. (I sometimes have to restart due to my order not going through or my login getting forgotten by the browser.)
I received a survey in my email and completed it, complaining about the slowness and the lack of multiple domain searches.

I have a 110 names ot register. Honestly, at this rate, I would rather buy them at $8 each... I dont have the time nor the temper to dare losing 5 hours for nothing, not even an hour.

Anyways... If you value your time at more than $100 an hour then be my guest and bulk register at GoDaddy for example.
BTW it takes me about 35 seconds to register a name for 1 year
