PAUL149 works for a new .com Reg for $1.49 +icann. Should work for a transfer as well but I haven't tried it yet.

Anyone know if there's still any way to use codes to renew hosting? I have a pile of VDSes that I need to renew, and it doesn't seem like any codes work for those anymore.

Hard times. Absolutely none of the <$3 codes work. Bacon3 worked for $8.99+icann but I was too pissed to use it

But the domain I was about to reg already starts to grow on me so I probably reg it after hitting 'Post Reply'. What else I'm supposed to do, right?

Tried a few and they worked for me. It's best to remove all domains from your cart, close all Godaddy windows copy/paste the link into your browser, type in the domain and you'll see the updated price in your cart.

This link code process rarely works for me anymore. I think GoDaddy keeps track of code usage and at some point shuts code usage down on your account. I need away around that. Anyone else experience the same problem?

They usually only allow your account to use a code once. I use just about every code I can find for $0.99, but the majority of the time it is only once per code.

SECOND HUGE HINT!

Don't use more than 5(max) coupons in one day. Or the Godaddy Fraud Department will call you! And that is never fun to have to send in your information to prove who you are! And if you don't respond to the Fraud department within 48 hours they will delete/refund your recent purchases. Basically you get locked out of your godaddy account until you can prove you are you. They do this because the Credit Card is being used repeatedly in a short period of time. Its not a big deal, but its not ideal either!

That being said, here's a code that just worked today

Thanks for the tip..cleared all cookies and unfortunately that code didn't work and I haven't used it before, nor have I purchased any domains today. I am beginning to wonder if my DDC membership is getting in the way.

I too wonder about DDC. I never had this much trouble entering codes before I joined it.... Although I read somewhere that there is a limit per month or months that you can use certain codes, but if you go over the limit your blocked from promo's...

I don't think so. i was registered 10 domains with $0.99 code in an hour. so far there is no verification call (or) notice from godaddy.

Another hint, open multiple GoDaddy accounts. Don't use fake addresses or anything, just use a slightly different email address. Hint: [email protected] and [email protected] are different but both send emails to the Gmail account [email protected].

Two accounts at a time seems to work fine, but my coupons seem to get rejected a whole lot more on my third account if I try more than one a day.

It'd be good to have a stickied promo code post but ultimately it'd have to be constantly updated since promo codes seem to magically break.

GD Fraud department did lock my account down once as well, that was already last year around October when i just started out in Domaining and used all available codes i could scoop up anywhere.. there were no limits to usage yet (at least not for me) and i easily used over 10 codes per day.. but all was settled in 1-2 days then i could continue without ever getting a call/notification again..

ps: gone are the days of finding & spending 10+ working codes in less than 24 hours
