It happened on 23rd Aug 2022 and this matter lasted almost one month without any process. Masterbucks.com declined my fund withdrawal and disabled the button of fund withdrawal. And I contacted Epik.com and got no further action even if Rob Monster got involved in it for two weeks. All the time I was told in email by management review.

What is wrong with Epik.com? Do you think it is normal to disable fund withdrawal? How can I get back my fund from Epik.com? Thanks for your suggestion.

I would agree to help you under the condition that all of the reviews should be removed, you can save one if you feel strongly about it. - Rob Monster
Yeah, that is not how it works. It is YOUR funds that are frozen, not Epik's.

Again, as best as everyone can tell the Masterbucks TOS don't even exist publicly. So how could you agree to it?

Also, even if there was some clause in there regarding negative reviews, it is against the law according to the FTC.

It is not within their rights to hold YOUR funds because you reported negative, but accurate reviews.

Again, consumer protection agencies would likely be very interested in this behavior.

If it was me, I would not remove the review period.

I might edit it to say payment was received, but would leave the poor review.

The payment system went down without notice.

Customer funds have been frozen from withdrawals for weeks.

Epik customer support, especially anyone in authority, has largely been radio silent in public.
It sure doesn't seem like that is the case behind the scenes though.

Between their actions regarding Masterbucks and with reviews, I feel like that is worthy of a poor review.
I think it is one that deserves to stay up.

Brad

I did it because i need my money so bad. You know the average annual income in my country is around 3k USD. 25k USD is a lot for me. It took me 15 months of hard-work to make that money. And i sold that website because i have some debt.

I don’t like selling websites but i had to to it because I needed money.

I have taken more beta blockers and anti anxiety meds in last two weeks then i i took in last two months because of Epik.

Epik does not understand how dedicated i am. I will dedicate my whole life and I’m willing to spend a lot of money to get my 25k USD from them because they don’t deserve a penny of that money.

Yeah, I am not blaming you. I just want you to know that you are in the right here.

These are your funds. Any review is completely irrelevant to that fundamental point.

It is solely your decision what you want to do with the review. No third party should be able to coerce you to take actions you don't want to regarding the reviews.

Just got a response from Brian. He clearly refused my manual transfer. According to him they have a company policy and it’s clear Masterbucks is closed until they fix it.

According to him he is trying to save master-bucks. This guy refuses to accept Rob’s request.

“But you, like everyone else, must wait until our system is updated.”

This guy is the problem

Why does it need to be saved? I thought this was supposed to be an "upgrade."

He might be a problem, but Rob is the Chairman. The board appoints officers.
A CEO, or any other officer, is serving at the pleasure of the board.

This is like a master class on how not to run a company.

I got the same response from Brian’s executive assistant, Liza.

Rob told me he would have preferred a less radical approach but the new CEO knows more about tech and finances.

But seems like the new CEO is a master in killing business reputation.

I still cannot believe this is the same company where Rob used to be involved and help people with everything.

I disagree with his views but i think he was actually providing a pretty good customer service.

I’m a former developer. I have never seen a company closing their main platform just to make technical changes. They are done offline and then they are replaced with the live version.

Too bad you can't take a mulligan in business.

I told him that you are destroying Epik that’s why he said he is saving it.

Saving it from what is the question.

On a side note, I like how none of these people in positions of authority like Rob or the new CEO are willing to show their face on any public venue. Everything is behind the scenes. It's very reassuring.

“ To be very clear, Rob is no longer an executive at Epik and can not authorize any money to be sent, wasted, or spent.”

^This was a quote from Brian.

Whether it’s Brian or Rob who’s in charge, the non-communication of a “system maintenance” is really unacceptable, let alone one that lasts 3 weeks.

Edit: Adding emphasis on wasted. Was this the basis on bringing in Brian to replace Rob. And if so, why are the customers the one suffering from their internal conflict.

That’s what Rob told me that it’s up to Brian.

Actually, I would have to remove the CEO first. That is how governance works, or simply get his consent to the task which is how I am handling it. - Rob Monster

He refuses to listen to him.

What’s the point of fixing Masterbucks when there will be no one to trust it again?

I mentioned here long ago that Rob isn’t the problem. Brian is.

But you haven't told us why a CEO change was necessary in the first place.

Because i do not know the answer. Maybe because they needed an expert to fix the issues? Or maybe Rob just does not want to be the CEO anymore.

I’m sure he will make Masterbucks a better platform if both of them are telling the truth.

But that guy has completely ignored consumers. He just does not care about us.

He's a financial expert who enjoys raising money, how can we expect him to know about humans and customers?
