The only way to end this Pandemic is if the majority of the people around the World get vaccinated.

It's amazing that several vaccines have already been developed in record time and thus far they all show very good results as far as creating some level of immunity against Covid19 without causing any major side effects and supposedly even if those who have been vaccinated come down with the disease it won't be at the more severe levels that require hospitalization.

There are many companies that are working on the vaccine although the top contenders currently are Moderna, Pfizer, and AstraZeneca:

I personally would be first in line to get the vaccine as I am in the older category with some history of heart problems and although I believe that everyone should be free to make their own choices, but this will only be effective in stopping the Pandemic if the majority of the people (like over 80% or so) get vaccinated.

Please do your own research about the vaccines and indicate your choice in the poll (visible to all) and post any justification for your decision as to whether you are going to get the vaccine or not below.

Well you didn't understand the point that I was trying to make, I was referring to the new methods and technologies that have made the Covid Vaccine possible, I wasn't implying that Covid vaccine was going to cure all diseases by itself.

but keep in mind that the new mRNA vaccines (Messenger RNA Therapeutics) use a whole new technology which I believe can be used to bring many other diseases under control in the near future.

Today is January (not April) 1st.

We just entered the year 2021, the start of a whole new year, at the speed that these new mRNA vaccines were developed in 2020, it's not beyond the realm of reality to assume that there will be even bigger achievements in Medicine within the next ten years.

Each person has to do their own research with an open mind and make themselves more knowledgeable and not necessarily just depend on what is said by me or anyone else in this thread as these are all just one person's point of view as they see the situation. I nor anyone else here have a monopoly on the truth, if you educate yourself in new trends and technologies and look at things with an open mind you will be able to come to your own conclusions as to what might be possible in the medical field in the near future.

mRNA vaccines are pretty the same, but not the case of the AstraZeneca vaccine that is what UK is also using now on their population. So mixing a mRNA vaccine with a traditional vaccine like the AstraZeneca one, does not makes any sense.

Sometimes a healer means being tough with your clients/students....

Holding them accountable for their patterns/actions that made them sick, while gently nudging them to healthier patterns.


That is - if the shared goal is to become a whole human being again who is less dependent on outside sources for healing - be it medications or healers.

Yes, but as the CDC says, even mixing mRNA vaccines have no been evaluated. Although they are pretty similar, they have been developed by different labs and even if they target and replicate the same "spike protein" they don't do it identically. The only way to follow is to give the same second shot of the same vaccine. Anything else would be not correct, and it's clearly not correct what the UK statement say.
