It's not irrelevant because seatbelts save lives just like masks do. I'm waiting for that link about somebody getting lung cancer during this pandemic wearing masks.

Well, one thing is for sure, they both have hurt and possibly killed people. I know that if you use the oxygen deprivation devices have caused at least one car crash. And that was from the police. Lung cancer is probably going to take a while to start to be commonly known, but masks were never designed or intended to be worn over a long period of time. They were to be used in surgery for a relatively short period of time. Not hours at a time.

Irrelevant, and not funny, but yes. My background is that I grew up Amish, had a dad have 4 buggy accidents, one of which I was in myself, and that happens to also be the one that my father became paralyzed, and I had a head concussion. My brother was killed in one of these accidents when I was 2. Yes, safety is important to me. Oxygen deprivation is not a joke. But I have to do it to make money in what I do. And I get good money in it. I made $12,000+ in less than 60 days. I can make 300+ a day but it does not mean that I can do it over a long period of time.

I was at the UT Knoxville hospital a few months ago and a woman from my daughter's house mother which I had just seen a few days before was diagnosed with covid and not wanting the hospital to all get sick, I told them. They moved me to my own room and did new tests, only to be told that the house mother was negative. A false positive. I could not bring myself to tell the nurses, after all, they were so nice to me. I said before I work in health care. I am not a nurse or doctor, although I have an MBA, one of the easiest ways I have found to make money is to be a lab rat.

Exactly. As I mentioned with the buggy accidents, safety is not something I joke about. Masks are something I put on if I have to but they are not something that I would put on if I dont have to. There are stores that you are required to wear them in, and I will if I can get out in time, but I may have to remove them temporarily to breathe. Belts should be worn by anyone driving, though I personally think they should not have "mandates" for them as a civil libertarian. I would much rather have people be educated as to why its important to wear them.

Same with the Amish, I wish there was a way to teach them that safety is important to them as well as the people that drive cars on the same roads. Say I was driving down the road in a car and dont see a buggy with a single dim light from kerosene on the side of the buggy, as happened that morning that my Dad and I were in that accident, and the nurse that was going to her job at the Wooster Hospital, said she thought that she had hit a deer. If she had killed one of us, her life would be ruined, with manslaughter. As well as ours. That is something people should be thinking about.
