Absolutely true. China has loads of money and are are buying out great companies for peanuts all over the world. In the case of Detroit I heard they bought out thousands of abandoned homes that were previously inhabited by mostly blacks, for ridiculously cheap prices.

Yep, many of the houses they bought were very habitable too, some they purchased for as low as 8K

1/2 The country is so focused on trashing the Trump agenda I expect those 14 investigations are going to consume the next 20 months so that Congress will not do anything useful to work on needed fixes to Immigration, Healthcare, Infrastructure and other mildly useful work (They rarely do anyway).

While their investigators are busy, The least they could do is something productive... maybe find an electric bus (planes are poisoning the air) so Nadler, Chucky, Blumenthal, AOC, Pelosi, Cory, Horona, Kamala, Pocahontas, Omar and Tlaib ride for photo ops to the border to shake hands and hand out drivers licenses, voter registration cards, Amazon gift cards, free San Francisco, NYC, Detroit housing and food stamp vouchers.
