The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
Anyone remember last year or so when a member was found to have some 5 or 6 accounts. All apparently legit, as they never participated in the same auction(s).

Two accounts isn't really a red flag since it's common for those maxing out on the amount of auctions allowed to run at once.

My concern would be if those two+ accounts were to participate in the same thread, and it not be disclosed (or known) that they are the same person. Even worse would be if AI got a hold of both accounts, and started talking to each other via public thread. Just bump after bump of an AI conversation...

no problem with the feedback i'll reverse it or have namepros do it for me. don't do this trick to me again, if you talk talk with your primary and real account. or else like we've been doing here all along we look at the feedback and time of registration of the user, if this reads like newbie then all alarms are set.

I have been following this thread with great interest. Now my question is: Why create a second account when the original seller have a long / good standing Gold Account? This thing about creating seconds accounts is totally unnecessary and opens the door to this type of confusions.

Multiple accounts. There are a couple of threads where people can provide input. I'm against it because there is no way for members to connect them. You could literally have a thread going where it looks like multiple people are talking, but could be all the same person. But it's more money for Namepros.

Seller didn't do anything wrong, he should have at least 24 hours to transfer the domain, or respond. I think namepros rules outline such a time period.
That makes sense too. Ideally, a seller should reply within 12 hours saying something like I will push domain as soon as I wakeup or as soon as I'm back at the computer or when I get off work or whatever the case will be. Then they should push it within 48 hours after payment but just tell the person that ahead. However, one should wait at least 24 hours before getting mad at all.

I agree since many people are in different time zones, I can understand if it was hundreds, or thousands of dollars, this was $2, this person isn't going to get past the candy bar aisle with that.

No offense but unless you have a really crappy registrar what prevents you from taking 2 minutes to just push the name to the buyer? Purposeful delay isn't going to help anyone tbh. OTOH I see that the seller wasn't really online, it was a script which I don't think is allowed either?

the script is not allowed i already posted it.

you ought to lose your gold account here, since you as gold member is playing with me as a free member here, well im confused and alarmed at what you've done, as ive posted the 2bucks is not the issue but the motive, maybe if i have not posted this thread and given you a negative feedback you will not reply since according to some here, it's only 2bucks

ill post again for other's benefits

Hello,

The confusion arises in you because you saw me logged in. Well, to bump the thread, I have set up a Windows VPS with AHK script that automatically log in my account and bump auction thread time to time.

so the vps is also allowed as a gold member?
You agree not to use Tor, a VPN, SOCKS, or any other proxying mechanism ("proxy") that masks your computer's identity on the Internet ("IP address") unless such a proxy is necessary to access the Service. If you require the use of a proxy for another reason, you agree to obtain written permission from NamePros before posting any content via the proxy, and within 24 hours of your first use of the proxy to access NamePros.

I'm sorry because I didn't read NP TOS clearly!

But at Nomepros, I read about automatic auction thread bumping but I can't remember the discussion URL..

ok to face this issue you should have pmed me hey im a gold member here and this is my sub account my original account is this.. nonsense... for me. you should have talked with me using your primary account that i will consider because of your high positive feedback. i was alarmed first sign of danger i report.

thats what i just did
Probably rather then domain scammer as the feedback if someone doesn't deliver a domain within the 7 day frame per NP rules be specific and say something like, "Paid, but seller never delivered." Just an idea. The 7 day time frame is a tad insane but technically we should wait that long before hurting their reputation.

OK, please leave it up to the MOD to decide! Any decision regarding my accounts from MOD will be acceptable to me!
