I have 4sex.ca and hate to admit it but it's not a domain I am proud of. I has second thoughts when I purchased it because I have a very business like website and I often considered hiding the domain. All in all I think the .ca market is probably pretty weak for that but one beacon would be the exchange rate. If one hypes that membership rates are in CAD and charged inside Canada then a site might pick up some traffic.

That said.... does anyone buy memberships or anything from these sites?

My thought was not so much around membership but more around ad revenue, or other sort of click-through revenue. I think that people are more interested in 'real people' and what they do, not actors as much. So I was thinking jokes and memes, gifs, etc... hoping to drive comments and clicks, kind of like the chive but on a smaller scale and mostly directed towards Canadian content... just a thought lol who knows....

I'm not convinced by the utility of such domains in ccTLD, but it was worth the $2 gamble for an EMD.

I know nothing about Crypto, but I like those 2 names.
They lend themselves well to data encryption or password storage or cloud security I think.

Nice names! I would actually see them working well beyond crypto. For example, a company that helps protect your reputation online, or child controls, etc. might brand with DigiSafe, while any kind of online storage of photos, etc. could potentially use DigiStorage. Best of luck with them, Dan!

You were right to turn them down. They are both $xxxx names. IrishWhiskey is the better of the two IMHO,although there is another spelling that could be used as an alternative.

My thought is that you should at least respond to the offer with a BIN price. Most of my sales started off with lowball offers, but where eventually negotiated down to an acceptable sales price.

Thanx Sella, I did counter with BINS in that price range but they both said they have been in the "online" industry for a long time and know the value of names and my prices were way to high, so I move on.. wait for the next low ball, lol

I am almost done with Afternic as well i get countless request for prices and never hear anything back, and most of the inquiries are for names about to expire.

I was looking at some names i was going to drop, i have listed them on here in the past with no interest but.
