On a positive government note... Today, I watched a constructive meeting on small business.

Apprenticeships are sorely needed, there is a current and ongoing high demand for skilled manufacturing employees for industry and aerospace. There are grants being offered, need more promotion in schools, etc. great news for young people and veterans. These jobs include fully paid college engineering incentives too.

Unbelievable this issue of manufacturing decline for so many years, the left wing and hollywood media stigmatizing the trades as low status, and blue collar work as second class and instead promoting the Kardashians and more programmers. As if there aren’t enough already, and with AI encroachng will eventually shrink the workforce.

These are good jobs and pay $50k and up a year, anyone with friends with kids that do not want to dump $100k + in student loans to be yet another lawyer, programmer or accountant should take note.

This has to do with the President, it's current. The Right seemed to be ok with pretending to be moral, Moral Majority etc., obsessed with the bj's Clinton was getting. Argentina who really has been a mess for years, actually looks better in stats and has natural resources unlike import everything Japan and their debt ratio, incredible really since if they get their act together soon I may relocate there eventually. I think the stock market is a great indicator of the government in power. It has been one the largest rallies in the stock market history, since his election. So I think his decisions are correct.

You're giving praise to Obama then, since his last few years in office, the Stock Market had record breaking months over half the time. Handed an economy going in the right direction over to Trump, who tried to take credit for it literally the very first month. mr-x pointed out to me labor participation hasn't gotten any better under Trump, so that's a concern.
