More your NRA talking points. Nobody said there is a cure-all but there are things you can do to cut some of this down. In this case a simple 21 to buy an AR-15 would have prevented this shooting. Common sense stuff. The problem is that you and the NRA are against common sense things, because it's all about gun sales. Let's take a look at your views:
Ok with people that have mental issues owning guns.
Ok with bump stocks - even Trump is against this.
Ok with keeping the age at 18 for AR-15, when you need to be 21 to own a handgun.
So blood is a bit on your hands and the NRAs because you're against common sense stuff that the majority of Americans favor, for what? Look at those 3 specific points. In all 3 your views are against the majority. Even some other Trump supporters in this thread are against you on some of those points.
Trump is talking live now, said they're going to do something to ban stuff like bumpstocks. So even somebody like Trump is against your views, like the majority of Americans. That was a Captain Obvious one. That was something used to circumvent law. You are ok with circumventing law.
Ah, signed a memorandum to propose regulations. So probably nothing will be done, kick it down the line for another year, hoping people will forget. Until the next time somebody uses one to kill a bunch of people.
