I bought on SEDO domain from user @BigFudge which was for sale with BIN price.

Now he REMOVED domain with SEDO, because he was "apparently" not aware of minimal fees they apply on SEDO market.

We had also a private conversation here ad here is his FULL reply:

Yes i am aware of all that.

Ok so here is what has happened. I have locked my domain again, and have removed my entire portfolio from Sedo. They can ban me if they want to.

And since you are right i am not able to list it anywhere else than namepros

You can put in a Bid of 90 on Namepros auction, and i will sell it to you 96 hours after that last bid, giving you time to be refunded from Sedo

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
Does Flippa have some exclusivity clause? I have my domains pointing to one place and listed at several places with no buy it nows. I will be following this thread to its conclusion. Was trying to give the guy the benefit of the doubt. I guess his error was the buy it now button.

If you read anyone's terms it is catch 22 once you decided to use. The idea is so you don't list names at 100 places they have contracts.

The fact that the owner listed the domains at auction on Flippa and Namepros at the same time should raise some alarms for the bidders (they might not get the domain).

Here is the Flippa auction link: https://flippa.com/9161999-portfolio-of-12-domains

Some of the domains are listed at auction here at NamePros as well and there are bidders:

https://www.namepros.com/threads/qu...-freelancer-market-site.1044520/#post-6386421

It might be a newbie mistake, but I think it's common sense that you can't have an auction for the same domain at the same time on two different platforms.

I got this from SEDO:

Thank you for your comments.

We have informed the seller that he has a legal binding contract with you and in case he will not cooperate to transfer the domain and the Transfer needs to be cancelled, his account will be deactivated.

We indicated a deadline of 2 working days to provide the auth-code.

As the contact has been reached between you and the seller, you have the option to take legal steps against the seller in case the transfer will be cancelled on Monday, 16th, October.

Please understand that Sedo is a marketplace so we are not the attorney of seller´s or buyer´s but they have to take legal steps outside of Sedo if required.

Regards,
XXX

My answer:

I think not taking actions shows quality of your market. Company with 100 mio traffic cannot do "nothing" ... shame on you :)

My thoughts:

If I could get real owner data - I will do it !

It could cost you couple of thousands just to force him to give you the name, without him loosing anything else and this is if both of you are from the same country; if you are from different countries it could cost you hundreds of times more than the value of the domain and even than it's not sure that you will get it, depending in which country both of you live. Also, I had around 16 buyers this year who didn't paid after they agree to pay and this was at all marketplaces, if they will start banning every buyer doing this, after 1-2 years you will have 10% of the buyers left. For your information, most of the times they even don't ban them anymore, if they pay the commission what the marketplace would have made. So, in conclusion there are close to 0% chances to do something, just let it be and go for the next one.

As I already stated - domain was listed here, on Flippa and on SEDO. I picked domain on SEDO with BIN, because I never ever use Paypal to buy domains.
He wants to sell me now the same domain via NP - for the same amount - and probably via PP of course.

I left opinion about intentions to audience ;)

@boker - do you know, how they treat you on SEDO, if you forgot a name which somebody then pick (on Sedo) - and you do not own it anymore...!!??

Not case with me, but I heard that they are very, very "angry" - and very for legal actions ;)

No, I know one case when they asked him to pay the 60$ fee if he want's to keep his account clean and that's it.

LOLOL SO YOU WOULD HAVE THIS DUDE GET AWAY WITH THIS SH!T, YET YOU WANTED TO GET BRANDX IN TROUBLE WHEN HE DIDN'T EVEN STEAL ANYONE'S MONEY OR DOMAINS SINCE THAT ONE TIME IN 2009.

This guy is doing what brandx did, he's not honoring the deal, which is what Brandx is mostly convicted of.

Wowwww ik it was all about that negative feedback :D

Ok. Then they can return me my payment + 60$ - believe me, they will not do this, hehe
But that's where you can see a REAL value of company.

But I will let me to be surprised :)

It is more that other users will bring attention to his names - as they probably will not sell in honest way ... as it happened in my case!

If you check, brandx did a chargeback even to namepros, for the business member fee...so that's saying enough about him

They will not do this, afternic is not doing this , godaddy is not doing this...
Also, maybe I'm wrong, but they will not cancel his namepros auction, because what happened between you two didn't happened here and it cannot be proved 100%.

You should have known, you were one of number 1 fans...also, just that you know, paypal is investigating him for other stuff as well, not related to domains.

Then tells also a lot of this market - and why I am not buying here. Too risky! But you are wrong - @Sedo can confirm what happened - so there would be 100% confirmation !

And then if confirms here and on SEDO - then there is no reason not to be banned from other markets as well.
Do you think somebody can be cheater on 2 markets and a "honest" man on others !?

Let's wait for the mods and see, from my experience that they will not do it...is like you will ask godaddy to ban somebody for what they have done at flippa

Yeap, that's the problem with domaining.
You can be a cheater and honest domain seller in one person, hahah..

BTW - @Cyberian was also (very) active bidder in specific auction for domain I bought on SEDO ... ;)

It's the same in every industry...you can take a credit from a bank and not pay the rates in time, but in most cases other banks will give you another credit, just if you are doing it for repeated times they will start refusing to give you another credit.
