This thread is a central location to report domain name sales of any dollar amount.

As much information as you can include about the transaction is welcome, but at a bare minimum please include the domain name(s), the sale price, and whether you were the seller.

Good luck with your sales!

Please use the Like and Thank links on a post to indicate that you like it or are thankful for it being shared.

Do not post only, "great sale" or similar as this doesn't contribute to the thread. (Don't reply for the sole purpose of complimenting.)
  • Tip: Use the Like/Thanks feature instead.

Questions are allowed, but do not post commentary. If you want to discuss or comment on a sale in this thread, quote it and then post it in the following thread instead:

@DnFolk, when you put bins on afternic, the buyer always has the option to make an offer either way..
for names that you really don't care about, put 149 or 199, but for anything with some value I would easily put $399 - 899 range at least. You might have less sales, but each sale will count for much more. H//e//r//o//l//i// in king was worth more than 149 for sure imo.

Was the domain forwarding to Uniregistry Lander?

@everyone who is selling at Uniregistry, please share whether you are using Uniregistry landers or end-users find your domain in the Uniregistry market. That'll be very helpful. Thanks.

regged in december fasthosts $1.17
BB rejected
then listed at afternic for $299

few days before i got inbound offer in email who gave reference of my one real life friend, that he was her (my friend's) cousin and hence asked me to sell this domain for $100 this was weird so first i confirmed with my that friend and after knowing he was genuine i told him i have listed it for 299 and since he is cousin of my friend so will sell it to him for lesser price which is 249 he quoted 149 then next day i sent message with 229 then he asked for 199 and said its last offer, which i accepted specially with 199$ there wont be any commission and the money will be directly deposited in my bank as he is also from india.

I may have sold this for lesser price but since he was actually my one friend's cousin so its alright.

I immediately received the payment in my bank in indian rupees equivalent of $199 and removed the domain from afternic, first plan for him was to create an account at fasthosts then he decided he didnt want to put his credit card details without buying anything so he cancelled now asking me that he will take domain at godaddy. anyways i received the payment. domain will be transferred there in few days.

So in short Summary

Registered in december $1.7
Sale after 6 months - $199
No commission or any charges
Net profit 197

Did you make all these sales in a day?
lol... funny question but I don't think it is in a day's sales, knowing how things can be slowed in domaining.

Congrats on the sale no other (legal) business can get you that ROI in 2 days, but how did you register a .com on Godaddy for $1.12 was it a coupon that I missed?

Oh, there's a GoDaddy coupon that allows you to hand register one domain for 93% off. Here it is --- CJCRMN99U
