This story starts with DNF; a barren wasteland that once was a leading forum within the domain industry. While the forum itself played a huge role in propagating the myth that is Adam Dicker, the story really begins with DNF College in the summer of 2011.

Updates / Reports
These are in no particular order.

From what I understand, Adam still owes north of $33,000 to previous customers and business partners. As I receive more information, I will update this figure.

Good to know. I still feel those who have news-related websites/blogs should allow archive.org to crawl their site, to keep them accountable.

Play nice, my friend. A battle with Theo is a battle lost. :)

Yes, I know. I have nothing against Theo or Michael. Just found it slightly odd that they blocked archive.org from crawling their sites but I guess if it causes server load issues than it's better to disallow it.

Sorry you feel that way. It was just an observation with a slight conspiracy spin. At least in the case of Michael, he scrubbed everything clean.

I've blocked archive.org, along with other crawling bots. As far as I'm concerned, my server's uptime is more important than a conspiracy spin. Plus, only Google really matters these days.

To keep you entertained, however, there's a new article on Adam in today's DomainGang. Although I no longer cover his "accomplishments", this is more of a focus on today's LL .com prices.

Next time you have questions I'm right here, been here since 2003.

1) Did you work for DNF? Were you a mod there?
2) Did you have dealings with AD? (Other than buying and/or selling from each other)

Has Michael ever publicly spoken about why all of that information was scrubbed clean?

1. No and no.
2. Never bought or sold domains from/to A.D.

To refresh your memory or lack thereof, go read my blog post. Or go back 100+ pages here.

myself i dont think theres nothing wrong with a lot of the professional domainers that saw good sucess and learned a lot from using what they learned in a fashion the generates revenue its not any different than a professor writting a book of his study hypothesises and then selling it to the masses. just its not good to be shady or exploitive of others because theres a lot of innocent newcomers and if you do that it takes you from the realm of being a service provider to being a predator. there was a lots of big names working with and around the alleged bad apple most of them could be innocent and some may not even of known but if they any associates want to erase their association out of embarassment or protest i dont see that its wrong if they do or dont try to distance them self either way i would say they have that right and its would be professional just like when one of those pro athelete do some bad deed in the news and then the team comes out and says look we dropped this playber because he got in trouble with the law or did some other shameful act.

so we can just look at it like ..
  • okay we are all a team
  • our game is domains
  • and we had to drop one specific player from our team
  • because there was some indication that that bad apple may not been on the up and up and may not been a true team player
  • but we are still a team
  • and we are all going to move on and continue to look for major wins at our game!!

The guy that bought the domain calls himself "DNF Buyer", likes it is a trophy. He is also selling it for 100k supposedly. If he is, he must have gotten it at market value price which would have being a bargain.

The latest DNF obit. Andrew Alleman is official calling it dead, DNF has been down for over a week. At first he was saying it was going through "server upgrades"... just another one of his compulsive lies.

Also, be prepared for lots of spam if you were ever a member, on Adam's fb page he publically posted that he had 800k opt-ins and he asked if anyone knew how to turn that into cash. He is scrambling for money it seems. Unpaid bills, avoiding victims for months still.

Also his new fb group "Domains into Businesses" has officially started.... kind of a DNF college part 2.

This guy Shane Bellone - i personally don't like him very much ( because of the flippa drama) - but he became part of the domain history forever. He destroyed Dicker and his forum. Together with all the lies, manipulations and illusions surrounding Dicker. Together with all his awards from domain gatherings. Plus many guys who were his "friends", but now refuse to remember their friendship.

Did someone ask for the definition of the phrase, "Blaming the Victim"?

Shane Bellone didn't ruin Adam Dicker, Adam did that to himself. Shane just brought Adam's wrongdoings to light and it was more than past time for it to happen. Now Adam is sowing what he himself reaped.

Yeah, and Bernie Madoff was a stand up guy that everyone loved -- well, until the whole ponzi scheme collapsed around him...

But Bernie's a top notch guy otherwise, right?!?!? It's not like he killed anyone.. All he did was take away their hard earned money never to be seen again. I just can't understand why all his so called "friends" deserted him despite all the good he had done prior to the ponzi scheme thing.

If Shane didn't let the world know about Dicker's dirty work, none would know about it.

The feeling is mutual.

I remember when I buy the highest membership package on his forum. I wait for half a year to get access. I send messages all over his contacts to get access. At the end I get access but not what I paid for, I get access to lover package.

BTW I'm in online business over 15 years I buy at least 1.5k products online. I never ever experience something like this.

When I read his forum terms there was something like this "We keep rights to decide if we are going to allow you access when you purchase package, and we will not refund you no matter of what".

And I was like: what the fu**, I'm sheep or what?
