This story starts with DNF; a barren wasteland that once was a leading forum within the domain industry. While the forum itself played a huge role in propagating the myth that is Adam Dicker, the story really begins with DNF College in the summer of 2011.

Updates / Reports
These are in no particular order.

From what I understand, Adam still owes north of $33,000 to previous customers and business partners. As I receive more information, I will update this figure.

I failed to read previous posts before i posted. Mis informed or what. Dicker wants to pay?
Maybe those lawyer letters were sent to CLAIMANTS to resolve this?
How much did he owe you on the contract pug?

Unfortunately, if Pug answers he may not get paid if he received a letter and agreed... according to "the letter". (Ooooh, we now have another thing, "The Letter". ;))

Not flaming, just stating the obvious. Pug, you do as you wish. But if resolved a simple "it's done and I am satisfied will do" for all who have been following. :lookaround:

IMHO opinion, the faster everyone is happy happy joy joy the better, and then we can get back to our own miserable lives trying to find the next Adam to follow.

These are my opinions and yours may vary... and that's ok.

It seems to me that the first step is to define refund amounts and victims. Who will be refunded and for how much?

Exactly Disco.... Adam Dicker will have to confirm there things... These folks getting their money back is the most important thing here and if we succeed in doing that, we all win...

Can you be clear on who you are telling to "shut up?"

I contacted Adam to validate the authenticity of the lawyers letters, last night. He told me they were sent to claimants. Pug didnt get one.
I know more, let the gentlemen speak

Not to be inflammatory....

But that information is, IMHO, a private matter and our only interest should be were they made WHOLE to an extent of "agreed" satisfaction. If someone wants to make amounts public, then it should be their decision.

Makes you wonder why the population loves "The Walking Dead"? Blood baby, BLOOD!!! :-o

This is my opinion and yours may vary... and that's ok.

Anyone who has nothing to contribute. These people have the opportunity to get their money back. There has been to much mouth, yapping, for Adam to do this any other way. Let him pay his debts. We are not to decide who and how much. That is in paper

In other words, he's only threatening to sue you for defamation if he owes you money. Haha! That's amusing.

I don't think he's worried about getting sued....Again.

Let's remember that Adam said he would pay people last Friday then again this Friday and neither of those promises were kept. I'm not sure why you're being so trusting.

No I Meant that he only sent threatening letters to people whom he owes money. That means that, according to him, the only people who are defaming him are the people with legitimate claims against him. That doesn't strike you as odd?

I wasn't referring to Adam, my comment was directed at MasterOfMyDomain not being afraid of being sued..."AGAIN"

He gave me his word.. Do you know how many "claimants" have appeared all of a sudden.
Some are cut and dry! When someone posts they got their money :) then you will have to find something else to doubt. Yes Adam has lied, I have too, 1000's of times. Lets get things settled I wanna see some happy faces and Adam will do that, but it won't just take minutes.

The lawyer letter was to get claimants to contact a lawyer, FREE to discuss a payment plan

Ok, sorry. I know nothing about what you're alluding to.

He gave me his word..

That might be impressive if evidence existed that his word meant something to him, but clearly it doesn't. If his word has no value to him then why should it have value to anyone else?

I agree and I do recall seeing that statement.

However, I don't know about you, but just because of the headline of this thread, had it contained my name, would have me on the phone with an attorney by the time I finished reading it. I'm just saying...

If the attorney advised him to hold off on payment(s) to get the "legal" b.s. locked in with paperwork signatures etc. and "DO NOT POST ANYTHING ELSE!", as businessmen, and I use that term loosely, WE would most likely take that advice, despite a week's worth of name calling.

This is my opinion and your may vary... and that's ok.

. I would agree to this only if all the money owed to me is paid back by Monday. No later!! And I have been informed by my attorney should this go to court, I am entitled to 4 times the amount for alleged damages and more. I'm done with being jacked around by false pay dates. I am ready now to take action as this is a slam dunk based on evidence and witnesses willing to testify. I'm not intimated at all by this letter being passed around. I am happy to speak with his attorney. I want to ask him if he's read the entire blog. This is a free speech country. And I can back up my claims. I can claim I am a victim and speak up about what happened to me. I was invited here to tell my story and I did. Again my case is more solid verses his.

With that said I feel I've been used...definitely lied to, conned and it keeps going on. There are many other cases here to warrant my case.

However, I am fine to make this all go away with a complete refund and wire fee. I am fine with signing off that this situation will never be discussed again from point of payment in my account.

BUT! Adam also must sign off on the same agreement (hold harmless) against me.
Otherwise I am ready to rumble.

Strength In Numbers...

Adam Dicker says, if everyone agrees to not post in this thread he will refund the victims within 24 hours and there will be no legal action.

The purpose of this thread was to get the victims refunded. So I'll say this is a reasonable offer.

@Adam Dicker Right?

It is not just about refunds. It is also about protecting newbies.
Adam Dicker has to stop selling services to domain investors.

The letter didn't seems to be directed at Shane. The receiptant name was edited out as well as the date of post in question.

It also stated "provided website services to you."

Maybe Shane should clarify this before everyone had the wrong impression, which seems to be the case now.

Can this question of whether the only publicly revealed letter with the addressed blocked out directed at Shane or not be answered now? Especially so since now there's a request for donations.

Just yes or no. Very simple.

I don't see how either answer will affect claimants' chance, but it does put in context the purpose of the crowd funding.

Pug said the same letter was sent to him with the exact same content. Maybe Pug can be more transparent than Shane and reveal the letter without hiding the name like Shane did. Block all personal information like email, address, telephone, etc, but show enough that it is indeed directed to you.

Someone else said he threw the letter away but the post seems deleted.

Now that this incident has evolved to the stage where it involves donations, I hope I don't get the "I don't owe you anything" reply for the third time.
