Hi,
I hope you can help me with an appraisal for zano.org
I have a potential buyer for this domain, but I have no idea how much should I ask for it.
the buyer is interested, but haven't made an offer, so i need to reply with an asking price.
The potential buyer is an end user but a person. not a company.

many thanks!

i'd say don't get too greedy,

try to do a google search and find more out about the buyer maybe he is pretending to be just a regular dude being interested in your domain i.e. http://www.zanosalons.com/ might be it....

if all research is done and you havent tagged the potencial buyer to a company i'd say you should start with very low $xxx and see how he reacts....

cheers

Thank you toni,
I know for sure this person nickname is zano, but he has another website or two, so I guess he understands the value of a god domain.
I will try low/mid $xxx and see how it goes.

I would love to hear more opinions pls.

Thanks!

Zano is clearly pronounceable and highly brandable, therefore it is more worth than random 4 letter domain names. Iโ€™d start with low $x,xxx. If the buyer is an end user and he eventually pays low $x,xxx, then thatโ€™s the value of zano.org. Itโ€™s not an issue of greed; this is called demand and supply principles and market forces are always โ€˜ruthlessโ€™. They keep the domainers in the domaining industry and let the end users benefit from the hard work of domainers.

well it depends on who the buyer is exactly...

you might scare him away if he is just a regular dude (had that happen before)

Ask for $ 790 8-X

And mention in your message that this is current market price for a nice pronounceable 4 letter .org between Domainers. And mention some sales like:

ippa.org $610
mpcn.org $952
capo.org $666
grin.org $653
easi.org $1508
ammo.org $690

(don't mention the cheap ones :D )

BUT mention that you will consider his max. offer (no matter what) and that he should send you his best offer and you will think about it.

Good Luck

I think low $$$ is too low :)
I'd start with high $$$ - 1$$$.
