I reached out to a potential buyer via email and got a reply for my asking price ? The domain name is (Global)keyword.com which I got through auction last week. It was very old and I was the only one to bid. Looking at namebio lot of global related domain sales from low xxx to mid xxxxx. So how much would you put an offer?

Appreciate the help

The views expressed on this page by users and staff are their own, not those of NamePros.
.US domains.US domains
High XXX in my opinion.

There were a lot of Global<keyword>.com domains at GD auctions lately. Did you receive the domain already ?

As for end user price, I would say $500-$3,000 (depends).

Sorry to say, but you're putting the cart before the horse. Why do you buy domains (and solicit end users) if you don't know how to appraise them ? You should have a price in mind, especially if you are soliciting.

It's no different than using estibot to buy domains, when you rely on another party to do your homework.

Everyone is beginner at some point and looks for advice. And guess that's why forum has appraisal section to get an opinion. I have a price in my mind but it doesn't hurt to get opinions from other who have been in domaining for long time. I knew this domain name had a potential and hence bought at first place. I did homework as much as I could from my end like looking at namebio, similar sales etc.

I would ask $2000 to start and be willing to negotiate down to $1000.

Price put aside, it's quite a bad idea to put the name here before you begin negotiating.

I thougtht that too. But I know it would have been hard for people over here to provide appraisal without a name. I went ahead and changed it to show it as global(keyword).com

You need to figure out how many possible end users there are for this name. If there is only one or two, then you don't have much leverage. In other words: probably can't afford to be greedy.

But I know it would have been hard for people over here to provide appraisal without a name.
Indeed. It is pointless and a waste of time to ask for appraisals if we don't know the exact name.

unfortunately, the part you left out "Keyword" is probably the most vital part of the domain if you need people to help with an appraisal..

I think the safest option is for you to pick a few members on the forum who you think might be able to offer you some good input then maybe send a PM with the full domain name and ask them if they mind giving you their opinion... (some of them might mind and might give you a cocky response cos they are just morbidly sad individuals but most would be happy to oblige)
