Mine:

HeatingFuel.org

I think the net sold recent at auction for over $1,000 and is reg to Frank Schilling (I think) or his business name. This org name was dropped after 6 years according domain tools. Since I run woodpelletfuel.org with great serp's this can make a good addition. I find it boring though.

Damn if that ain't twice I misspelled it trying to post it here. I guess that's a little voice telling me to think a bit harder before regging something. Oh well. I liked it when I grabbed it. Maybe someone else will.

Josh, will you add CoinToCoin to your auctions?

Hey Darko, I'm not sure. My intentions were to add everything for a certain time period, just to keep it a "pure" test, but I find it's hard to put some names on there when I know they'll sell so low. The key will be to identify, the easy retail market names with the "cool" or just average wildcards.

What I need to do is set a time to take all the current names down. Set them BIN on Afternic/sedo starting at maybe $599 and see how many will sell.

Maybe even $299 which is 10x's the average namepros sales price. It would be interesting to see how many would sell.

Typically I set the bin at at least $999 up to around $4999. It would be good to track the difference, obviously they're are so many variables, timing being the biggest one. I think that at $199 to $499 I'd still attract some investors through the Godaddy auction feed.

I clearly understand. If I look at your activities you are actually testing at different price levels. Here on namepros the "ultra low" with starting price at $29, the low priced at mid $xxx and the names in the ,I would say, normal price range of low to mid $x,xxx. For me and probably for others it is always the question how to price a domain to get a fast sale and not leaving to much money on the table. I have not enough names to conduct such a test, therefor any input on this topic from you and other experienced domainers would help me and others to maybe determine it. Actually @Ali is currently doing a similar test with a protfolio of 4.000+ names.
Josh, thank you for sharing valuable insights with the community!(y)
