Just hand-regged a commercially viable exact match .com domain that sees 135k per month search volume. No trademark issues either.

There is still money to be made in this, but you have to research your niche. If you are just buying random misspelled words or tossing a number at the end of a term, I don't think that is very sustainable. My biggest issue is not the finding of domains, it's pricing them to move. I don't know the market well enough yet (as a overall newbie).
