Do you own your own first name/middle names/surname as a domain?

Just saw someone has aquired Mark.com and it got me thinking...

2 years ago I did register my personal name with a .com domain name. I let it expire though.

Got my first name, middle initial, last name in both .com & .net. Had the .net for years. Picked up the .com on the drop last year.

A post just like this one last year had me thinking for a couple of months whether I should register myname.com. I really thought about it since I couldn't see a use for it. My first name was taken and my last name was taken. I ended up registering firstnamelastname.com and now I use it as my primary email address and it has helped me wean off of my ISP email so if at any time I want to switch ISPs I can. I also registered my son's firstnamemiddlename.com in 2004 for family pictures and pictures of him. The good thing is my registration of my firstnamelastname.com domain name is the same as my son's so when he gets older if the whole domain naming system hasn't changed he'll be able to use either one.

I talk to a co-worker of mine about my domaining alot, today we looked if her name was available, first and last and they were. I tried to convince her to reg. them but I don't think I have her sold yet. Still gonna work on it though..
