Do you own your own first name/middle names/surname as a domain?

Just saw someone has aquired Mark.com and it got me thinking...

It's the fourth largest defence company in the world and the largest in Europe, with sales of £15bn ($27bn) a year.

I don't think there's much chance of me owning that domain name in my lifetime.
Same goes for rob_com too.

EDIT: My full name is taken too, even my username is taken!

I would like rob.com too... I even once entered the bidding for rob.co.uk, but it went too high.

I am more than happy with my robertmorgan.net domain which is registered up until 2009. I am committed to it and am quite sure there isnt going to be a better one come along for me, now.

I approached the owner of my name with the .com extension, but they were not interested and have, several times, just not got back to me. I believe it is in the hands of a small time estate agent somewhere in the US. I havent done alot of research. I offered a fair price, they said no. There is no room to move for me, so I settled on this one. And I can honestly say no, unless it was free, I dont think I would be tempted to pay more than reg fee for robertmorgan DOT com now.
