Well, it's not selling that good - 1,763, I guess all the cities got snapped up. Problem with that one is most cab companies already have their name, usually an original name you can get for reg fee in .com, even new companies that might come down the line. You also have .taxi coming.

all the big cities are gone already. so i think it will worth if you get one with the actual city name , large city preferably in usa or canada

I think the focus is too narrow; there just aren't that many cab companies.

Why, as an end user, would I want to register a .cab for, say, a shoe company?

because cab companies have more money to spent, imagine if you have a nice city name with .cab extension, dont you think it is easy to sell it to a cab company in that city?

Funny, 'cab' to me is short for Cabernet Sauvignon. Go to Napa and ask for a cab and you'll get a glass with some good stuff in it.

yes, because "yellow" is also name of many cab companies thru-out usa

if you ever been to NY or seen movies of NY, majority of cabs there are yellow

also, people in downtown areas just go outside and 'hail' a cab, rather than calling for one.
