From what I can see, T-Plus Ride is a Transportation Plus brand and neither is affiliated with Lyft, which then leads to the potential question of trademarks and legalities. Seems someone might potentially be juggling fire sticks.

a whopping $417/year, had to let it go :xf.cry: I couldn't justify the overhead carrying with its dim likelihood of selling with a solid profit/recoup.

the market and investors were mostly still very anti new gtlds, being said this extension is quite limited in a real world usage scenario

current owner has it listed for $250k, I feel it's a bit more relevant now but something like robo.cab is probably more attuned (not mine)

Ya.. x,cab isn't bad, but for a mid-3-figures every year to keep... It kind of kills the nostalgia of it. personally, I draw the line at $70 renewal for a 1-character in the majority of extensions. Anything over that and being aware it's a 10+ year hold, means the chances of breaking even ($70 x 10 = $700) start to become a reality, with the floor value of most (Not all) 1-letter new gTLD's capping out at $500 (Reseller or Hobbyist).

Future/timeless assets like Robo.cab though, holds more realistic end user value than a nostalgic 1-letter .cab, unless you're talking i.cab, u.cab or a.cab (The rest of the alphabet slips back into that $500 cap). in my opinion.

I don't think x.cab is going to see a $250k acquisition anytime soon, especially with the cab/taxi market saturation with uber, lyft, etc. squeezing traditional cab brands out of business.

Freelance cabby's are popping up all over, but they generally can't afford to spend much on their brand/domain as a freelancer. So there's that cap hit again, when catering to them. In many cases, there's a fine line that blurrs between a freelancer and a hobbyist... Both with very tight budgets, struggling to compete, much like starving artists.
