Since I have taken domaining on full time, I've had some close calls. The biggest upset was having the CEO of Proctor and Gamble answer my email, (replied to my second email followup to email #1), like the domain name and then pass it to his VP's who denied to purchase.
How close have you come and to what? If you were to guess, how many of the respondents to your outreach are window shopping and or pan out to not be buyers?
