Yay! Cheaper Domains At GoDaddy!

For those who haven't seen the GoDaddy Discount Club, for $89.99 a year you can get to their parking service and get your .com domains for $6.74 or $6.60 for GoodAsGold account (wire transfer only).

Number of domains per that are required to save money on the common $7.24 discount codes = 180

Number of domains per year that are required to save money on $6.95 price that large domain holders at GoDaddy get = 428

So for those domainers who are have more than 180 domains at GoDaddy this is worth considering. Not impressed with the savings on other extensions other than .com.

I use GoDaddy and this doesn't seem like any kind of a deal to me! I already get $6.95 .com domains having a few hundred domains with them as well a dedicated sales executive. As for their parking, I moved everything to Sedo after trying it and decided it was really pretty bad.

Paying for parking and/or a discount isn't my idea of a good deal....

Sure it still works with the coupon codes for $6.95 dot com price. I got discount 5% more if I purchase for an amount of $25 or more at luckyregister

and THEN come the renewal rates.
ahhhh, those amazing $9.95 renewals for .info, and the $8.95 for .com (without coupon).

you can sooooooo much easier go with a better registrar. a certain M word comes to mind. Not to mention even resellerclub with their weird site, yet still great pricing.
