Yahoo Drops Google!

Yahoo dropped Google and replaced it with its own engine. Now that's big news. In less than twenty-four hours, Google went from about 79% of the market share to about 51%, almost overnight. And what a welcome relief it is too! Being Number 1 in Google was great, but when you had the misfortune of dropping even a couple of positions you really felt it. Now there will be more stability; if you drop in Google today, your hits from Yahoo will remain consistent.

Good! Google has become too wacky lately. I think Google tries to do the right thing but they can only do so much.

I like Google way over dumb Yahoo. Yahoo has to much things games, auctions which cant compare to eBay at all, everything, Google will always rank #1 for me.

yahoo isn't just a search engine it's a web community. And the thousands and maybe millions of people that use yahoo, they like it. Google is simply a search engine.

And a little bit more, with it's sites set on being a portal. They own the complete usenet archives with the former DejaNews database, they have added Froogle shopping search similar but better than MySimon, They've announced Gmail, They are one of the biggest PPC networks, and seem to own Blogger.com, as well as archive mail order catalogs now. They are now also a news consolidator
