I remember stumbling across this x.com pointing years ago, that's when I checked all the other single letters out of curiosity.

Someone's posted all the L.com and LL.com owners here before, I forget the link ... I don't feel like searching for it, bed time!

Heh, I'd say in the x million. A good acquisition by PayPal, however the story behind the nissan one is far more intriguing. [It's in several threads here]

x.com q.com z.com

and also i.net (hi Elequa :hehe: ) q.net x.org

These names were registered before 1993, then Postel decided to restrict all remaining 1-letter names for 'stability' reasons. Perhaps they will decide to release them one day (the amounts will be huge). Also it's interesting to note that Yahoo trademarked Y.com (http://forums.searchenginewatch.com/showthread.php?threadid=7777). My guess is, they are trying to get an edge just in case :hehe:
Also the PIR registry is now redeeming all LL.org upon expiry, now it's not possible to register .org less than 3 letters. Dropping LL .org names are now disappearing and will become scarcer :yell:

Yes ironically 3 letters that people tend to try and avoid in domain names

q.com = http://www.qwest.com
x.com = paypal
z.com = Nissan
