There are 3 L .com actually
x.com q.com z.com
and also i.net (hi Elequa :hehe: ) q.net x.org
These names were registered before 1993, then Postel decided to restrict all remaining 1-letter names for 'stability' reasons. Perhaps they will decide to release them one day (the amounts will be huge). Also it's interesting to note that Yahoo trademarked Y.com (
http://forums.searchenginewatch.com/showthread.php?threadid=7777). My guess is, they are trying to get an edge just in case :hehe:
Also the PIR registry is now redeeming all LL.org upon expiry, now it's not possible to register .org less than 3 letters. Dropping LL .org names are now disappearing and will become scarcer :yell:
