This is my first ever .pro domain. I regg it today. I am quite excited about it.

www.PASSPORT.pro

I am sure .pro market is still a long way to pickup. It cost me $99 for this.

Any appraisals? This would be a great help for me. I also nee your valuble suggestion.

with $99 i can regg 15 .com domains but not good names. with the same amount i will able to regg only one .pro but GOOD names available. i am still having $300 more to invest this year, 3 .pro's or 45 .com's.

Hurm nice one.

$300 is a lot for me,if you like to invest other than domain name you could buy a money-making web site (proxy,web directory etc) and gain some $$$ or even $$$$.

When you have enough money,go for a premium domain name.This is where the market built around.

Just my opinion.I'm no expert in this field.

Hey guys, now i got it certified from premium domains. This is my first ever domain name to get "premium" certification.

Great name, .pro has picked up its market now.
According to dnjournal, video.pro was sold for $35,000 , movie.pro for $22,000 and streaming.pro for $18,000.

You can get more price if you find great end buyer.

.PRO is for professionals. The only passport professional is the government, who won't be buying this from you. Professionals like doctors, lawyers, designers, etc etc etc. My opinion is that passport.pro is like blanket.pro. It just doesn't quite fit with the extension.

I would rather look it thru development potential and standard legal issues of .pro domains. In case of fitting, id say that .pro domains fit pretty much everything.
But regarding dev potential, it has nice dev potential, but not too much: if you can develop it to make money, that is good. I would not count to resell it in near future. As of standard .pro legal issues, "pro"fessionalism, it all depends on good will of ICANN, Registrypro and Encirca. It lowers .pro value in long term, and makes it less secure for development.
Therefore i'd say domain is worth low $xxx, 2-3 times regfee.

It has a lot of uses and I would say $300 to $500 even undeveloped.
