Domain Empire

Would you post your dev. mini-site(s) please?

Like many other Npers, I am looking towards developing some of my better domains, rather than leaving them in declining PPC. I would really appreciate seeing some examples of 3-5 page mini-sites with Adsense, Adbrite etc that Npers have developed for their domains.

I'm not asking for postings of Whypark, Imodo etc mini-sites, as these types of sites are covered elsewhere in other threads. I'm hoping to see some (inspirational..) examples of mini-sites developed from scratch or using available templates. If you'd like to showcase or share, I hope you post some links to your sites. Thanks in advance.

Mod Edit: No more than five live links per post.

"My first amazon store" - ie the title of my post. Certainly NOT referring to your post (oops!).... :red:

In between the two posts, added another a-Store site to an existing mini:

Thanks for the clarification, pommy.

What did you use to build those 2 Amazon stores?

No problem

I used web-based software provided free by amazon. You just choose colours and keywords and then a way of displaying the store, eg inline or a seperate webpage and it gives you about 2-5 lines of code to stick in the right place. It works very well with wordpress.

Oh, so you built the site pages with WordPress and inserted the aStore plugins, correct?

I already have an aStore account. I was more curious on what you used to build the site.

Thanks for your answers.

Hey R72,

Great looking site! How do you find the comparative performance of the eBay mini-stores compared with Amazon?

I know I owe you a PM, but I have been head down in code the past couple of days. I have a lot to fill you in about. I hope to have some time this evening to continue our dialog.

Nice site. R72 and artfulwebsites Youre both right as to the way the site works.

R72, I think that your site would look better if you changed the header bg colours to white- I think it would look less cut off on the RHS. I have changed my WP template to just have one small sidebar rather than two X 200 on the right for the same reason.

Best wishes

Pommy

Looks nice. An astore css mod?

I like being able to some customization to the astore as in http://potterybookstore.com/ and http://www.webroses.com/. A small step in the right direction.
Hi Harkster,

Do those aStores get much traffic? How? Are the profitable compared to eBay stores?

Well I finally got around to dressing up my Affomatic eBay mini-store. Have a look www.WiiGamersHaven.com

Any thoughts?

Nice site Joe, I would reomve the "powered by Affomatic" from the footer. I don't know if it helps or not but all the Ban sites remove it. I checked and you are allowed to remove it.

I'll be off line for a few days or more, I'll catch up on al my pm's when I get back.

http://www.ijehovah.com/ - i just launched this a few hours ago. The homepage is basically finished, the sub pages maybe in the days to come.

I did not put Google ads or Adbrite, it might show ads contrary to what my site advocates. I just put Amazon links.

To new to tell. I hate to say anything good about eBay but I am starting to see some success with their rss feeds.

  • The sidebar remains visible by scrolling at a speed relative to the page’s height.
