IF the TLD and the domain means something Only

Most likely not, unless the 6 letter word was highly, highly desirable, taken and developed in other TLDs, and impossible to substitute.

Yes, but it has to be important to me or a client.

This is a little vague.........................

Casino and Armpit are both six letter dictionary words.

Without knowing the word itself, an accurate response cannot be given.

Saying 'no' uncoded:

Assuming a the buyer a newbie and buying someones else s picked over, forum traded no traffic, no product or geo regfee info

the domain im considering to buy is in a relevant growing industry

I bought two or three like that over the years. Things have changed since then. Now when I go to develop a new site I find I am REALLY reluctant to spend time on anything but a dot com.

Entirely depends on the word/domain name.

Without knowing the market need for such a domain name, I would have to say no.

We could never say anything unless you will post what kind of name it is. I bought
Louie.info at $xxx and have already an offer . There are a lot of things you need to consider.

age of the name
search
popularity
niched

but without telling us the name no one can tell you not to buy or buy it for $100.

gaming.info
is a 6 letter.info and you get a good deal if the BIN is $100.

The age of the domain doesn't matter anymore.

It can sell higher if you can build the name and make profits.

Random words .info worth almost nothing. But if its a word that matches with the .info it can be priceless depending on the buyer. Exemple cancer.info paint.info

...yeah, i dont know the rules but i still can play poker better than 90% of those who know the rules... sure you can, buy it, why ask if you already are able to smell the value, whats the use of asking then? you are new to domains but you know where the value is and are still asking if you should spend mere 100 bucks on a name...
