I wanna ask for advices from experts like you before making a decision to buy or not to buy this "LLLLLLLL.net"

1. It's a LLLLLLLL.net (LLLLLLLL.com is undeveloped)
2. It has over 17.000.000 results on google for LLLLLLLL
3. LLLLLLLL.com.cn is a very successful site.
4. .com sold for 2000usd 2 years ago, and its privacy protected
5. .info/.biz/.org/.us/... are registered and undeveloped.
6. LLLLLLLL is a keyword, and it's a noun (school subject)

Then it depends on what keyword/noun. Normally I think average .net worths at most 1/10 .com value.

If .com.cn is popular, and .com is so worthy of $2000, then you would have a hard time I think developing traffic to your site.

.Net has a real problem with people seeing .net and thinking / typing .com. This will drain off, say, 10% of your customers if you try to advertise your site. For some reason this does not happen so much with other extensions.

I have my business site on a net, got the .com later, and will have to move it someday - a tricky job. I would not build on anything but a .com or a .mobi these days.
