Would it be better to a one pager for each domain

Do you think one would do significantly better results by having a site and then have each domain point to a single page within the site with a little bit of content and other ads etc.

Dont get me wrong - my domains are doing great parked. I am just thinking maybe I should try this for my bottom 25% or so. Granted - the work for setting up those 50 pages would take some time... I have tried the 1plus minisite parking pages but I am not yet impressed with the results. (testing continues however)

from my expereince those have worked better, take a few test them for 1-2 weeks and see the the results.

Like brian I would say that they work better but with anything you must try it for yourself and see if it works. Maybe compare the two lowest domains doing both methods and you will soon decide yourself

If the domains aren't doing any good as parked domains you might as well give it a try. Assuming that you already have hosting you're only out the cost of your time to set up the one pagers.

As a fast alternative, have a look at 1plus.net. Their scripts create automatic mini-sites. Some of my bottom-of-the-barrel sites have picked up traffic & started making revenue since being parked there.

This gives me a guide as to which of these sites respond well to the adsense environment and are worth the effort of building a site before going to the effort of building the site.

Hi Kiore - How are you getting accurate uniques on 1plus.net? My Adsense channels give only pageview stats, and with the 1plus embedded pages, a single minisite could generate multiple pageviews from one visitor, not reliable stats for true uniques. Last I checked, 1plus still had not yet integrated stats with their parking program. Does YP provide unique stats, or is there some other way to accurately track real traffic on 1plus?

You're right, I'm not getting uniques. By picking up traffic I was meaning that for some sites on 1plus the total page views recorded by adsense seem to be increasing over time. Mind you none of my sites have very much traffic & this could just be noise. Revenue does seem to be increasing though.

I was working on the assumption that with an adsense site that one page view was as good as another. For advertising revenue this is probably still true, but if I want to sell the domain I'll probably need to work out a way to extract counts of uniques.

On the other hand I've never trusted the uniques figures I get from the other parking providers either. I've seen sites that are supposed to have had zero landings reported as having both "searches" and clicks.

Thank you for your reply Kiore, I see see we're sharing the same challenges of trying to sort through and establish reliable stats. FWIW, I'm finding that NameDrive provides the most accurate stats, with good filtering of cruising search bots and the like. I'm hoping that 1Plus will at some point emulate that type of statistical reporting for true uniques. You hit the nail on the head when it comes to selling a dn. It looks mighty fishy to say "Yes it's parked, but no I don't have any reliable stats."

Hi guys, 1plus stats are still not in real time (as they were before) this is because it made the domains management page painfully slow.. We are fixing..

We also have some really exciting news for those looking for a straight parking page (our original and somewhat currently disabled concept) - if you know what i mean.. This will soon be enabled and thus give us the full portfolio.

Anyway, ill post the details here first as weve not quite finished...

Basically what were doing is offering users a default skin choice for their domains - Lets say in this instance the user chooses the soon to be ready parking page option (jpg attached), the parking page will also offer links to a blog and a news page ... Same if user chose the news skin, there will be links to a blog and to a page of sponsored links.
