to have many separate sites with various things or one super site with all kinds of stuff.

I'm trying to decide whether I should just keep adding pages to the Manor with content, or would I be better off making new pages with separate domains?

Most times I'd definitely say to build other sites with different content .... Most "Portals" with "everything" never rank as high in SEO as a site based on one particular Subject or category.

Different sites for different content, unless your domain name is "everything dot com" in which case feel free to write about everything

Sites with a lot of different contents are harder to navigate. People generally go to a site to look for something specific. On the plus side, such a site encourages people to stick around longer.

Thanks for all your advice. I guess I will go with the separate sites thing. I just have to get better at marketing such sites. The Manor is kinda self perpetuating in that we have tons of content for people to peruse, so it's done well, but marketing a single content site I've found is much different and not exactly my forte thus far.
