On Feb. 9th I won my first auction at Sedo. I immediately went into my "billing" section and tried paying with my Mastercard. I got this message saying the transaction could not be completed. I tried a couple times and it wouldn't go through..On the 11th I called Mastercard and the lady I spoke to mumbled something about them needing to verify with me that I made this online purchase, like they needed my personal authorization or something (weird)...why didn't THEY contact ME in the first place??
This was the first time using this particular cc, and I've never had such a problem using my other cc's online...Ok, so I tell her yes, I did indeed make this purchase (she even mentioned Sedo.com) and I figured it would go through..On the 12th I see that my invoice in Sedo for the auction is no longer saying "unpaid" or "paid"...it's just blank in that area. I then got in touch with someone from Sedo who didn't seem to be too concerned at all and just said give it some time...Today I still don't know what is going on here. The purchase is not showing up on my cc and in my Sedo account it's still not showing as this being paid OR unpaid. I have no idea what is going on! And I don't even know who I should be contacting again, Mastercard or Sedo. I'm afraid that I'm going to somehow end up losing this domain because of this mess....Has anyone else ever experienced something like this? This is my first auction purchase so I don't know what to expect at this point.
