I believe that President Biden was right when he said that Russia is going to Invade Ukraine.

Any intelligent person is going to come to the same conclusion knowing that Russia has already decided to pay any price imposed on it by the West through sanctions.

Short of full military confrontation by the West there is nothing that can make Russia to change its mind as they see this as a golden opportunity to resurrect the once powerful superpower that was equal to the USA.

But Russia’s ambitions are not going to stop with taking over Ukraine since it already has made plans to increase its sphere of influence to Asia, Middle East, and South America and perhaps the whole World knowing that the West is most likely not going to do anything beyond just imposing sanctions which ultimately will hurt the West itself by effecting the Global economy in an adverse way the longer that they go on.

I personally don’t like any of the old ideologies, philosophies, and doctrines of Capitalism, Communism, Socialism, Religious Fundamentalism and all the other “ism” that are derived from the bad human characteristics of Greed, Lust, Hate, Cruelty, Jealousy, Prejudice, and lack of Empathy and that have been infringing on our rights in one way or another throughout the history because they can only exist through supporting inequality, oppression, suppression, torture, killing, and War.

When it comes to saving the World the last thing that I want to see is the further expansion of these old systems that have all already proven to be a failure in dealing with the existential problems that are currently facing Humanity and the Environment.

We don’t want all these political, Religious, and Racial parties and groups to resurrect their past, we want something new that can propel the World into the next Era that is based on the Universal Principles and Values that have been derived through Logic and Compassion and not through Force and Violence.

By “We” I mean all the Intelligent, Righteous, and Peace loving people of the World.

IMO

But absent any meaningful agreements this will give Russia time to regroup and reorganize its forces and to adjust its strategies so that it can resume its bigger goals of taking over the East European Countries.

Never going to happen. Russia as we know it from/after the cold war is done.

They will be leaving Ukraine in Ruins, they will be leaving Russia in Ruins.

So sad just one pathetic unworthy man of mankind signed the fate of generations to come.

You might be right, but we also have to consider the possibility that absent a meaningful peace agreement Russia might develop a few thousand hypersonic missiles with small Nuclear warheads that can be used on the battlefield and thus be able to take this War of attrition to a whole new level.

The World stood by and watched as Mariupol was raised to the ground by conventional artillery and missiles so why should we expect things to be different if small tactical Nuclear missiles are used instead.

Once Russia has enough of these small tactical hypersonic Nuclear missiles it can take over the region one City at a time.

I wonder how many of those in command positions have simply been shot in the back.

Russian commander run over ‘deliberately’ by his own troops in Ukraine, Western officials say

A Russian brigade commander fighting in Ukraine has been run down by his own troops, according to Western officials.

Yuri Medvedev, commanding the 37th Motor Rifle Brigade, is believed to have been deliberately targeted due to anger at the number of casualties his unit experienced.

An initial report by officials said Colonel Medvedev had been “killed”, but this was later restated amid suggestions he had suffered leg injuries and been evacuated to Belarus.

One official said the attack “gives an insight into some of the challenges that Russian forces are having”.

Colonel Medvedev was allegedly run down after Russian soldiers’ morale plummeted to an all time low, with one official noting Moscow’s forces had unexpectedly “found themselves in a hornets’ nest and are suffering really badly” due to ongoing logistical and military issues.

Ukraine conflict: The wounded children of Putin's war

https://www.bbc.com/news/av/world-europe-60816865

Ukraine war: No way out for 150,000 people trapped in city of 'hell' Chernihiv - as Russian forces bomb last bridge standing

https://news.sky.com/story/ukraine-...ian-forces-bomb-last-bridge-standing-12575091

"The city has been bombarded for weeks now with Russian troops closing in and circling it. There have been so many airstrikes and so much artillery shelling that many who've escaped say they couldn't come out of their underground shelters at all - day or night - for the past fortnight.

The city's electricity has been cut. There's little water, no heating and food is fast running out.

There are still an estimated 150,000 people trapped inside the city. "We cannot cope with all our dead," the mayor says. "It's carnage."

Another of his officials tells us by phone: "They're trying to create as big a humanitarian disaster as possible. They cannot beat us militarily so they're trying to force us to give up this way."

Just wondering what would Ukraine be like after the War ends.

With so many Cities in ruins and so many people already having migrated to surrounding Countries how is Ukraine going to function again specially with all the brain drain and a lot of the people with special skills and expertise that have already left.

Rebuilding Ukraine probably won’t be a big problem once all the international aid keeps pouring in, but how do you replace all the refugees if they don’t want to come back.

He's basically saying that if they feel threatened as in a state/regime collapse, they'll use the nuclear deterrent.

I think that's a clear message to the west, that any aggression, nuclear or not, would be met with nuclear force.

Chilling..

No oil and no gas exports for Putin, no penny for his war machine and for his war crimes. The world must starve Putin's war machine as much as possible with sanctions and by stopping Putler's oil and gas exports.

Biden and EU agree landmark gas deal to break Kremlin’s hold

https://www.theguardian.com/us-news...agree-landmark-gas-deal-to-break-kremlin-hold

"US increasing exports of seaborne liquefied natural gas to cut Europe’s dependence on Russia and starve war machine.

Joe Biden has agreed a landmark energy supply deal with the EU under which the US will increase transatlantic gas deliveries, in the hope of weakening the power the Kremlin wields thanks to its natural resources.

Speaking in Brussels after the deal was agreed on Friday, the US president said Vladimir Putin exploited Russia’s status as Europe’s main supplier of gas to “coerce and manipulate his neighbours” and that the proceeds of gas and oil sales “drive his war machine” during the invasion of Ukraine.

He said the partnership with the EU would strip Putin of that weapon by ending Europe’s dependence on Russian energy before the end of the decade.

The proposals also aim to cut Europe’s gas usage overall by focusing on energy efficiency and renewable energy, in order to meet climate goals.

The EU has already said it hopes to cut Russian imports by two-thirds by the end of the year, by importing liquefied natural gas (LNG) from other countries, and bringing forward renewable projects and energy efficiency measures."

Kyiv under curfew again,

Just wondering if Ukraine is planning to go on the offensive in the Donbas region or not.

If Ukraine agrees to not seek NATO membership and to become a neutral Country while accepting the independence of the two Donbas States that might be enough to bring this conflict to an end.

If Ukraine agrees to not seek NATO membership
Zelensky already said two weeks ago that Ukraine will not join NATO. And Putler has not stopped his invasion and the massacre of civilians in Ukraine.
As you can see, the NATO argument was just that, an excuse for Putler to invade a sovereign country. What Putler really hates is to see Ukraine having a real democracy with freedom for their people.
What the russian Hitler really wants is to return to the Soviet Empire era.

From Tue 15 Mar 2022:

Ukraine will not join Nato, says Zelenskiy, as shelling of Kyiv continues

https://www.theguardian.com/world/2...-moment-amid-signs-of-russias-tightening-grip

"Ukraine’s president, Volodymyr Zelenskiy has acknowledged that Ukraine will not become a Nato member, in a significant concession on a day when Kyiv was pounded by Russian shells and missiles and the invading force tightened its grip on the capital."

The war pig Putin and anyone that has or is pulling triggers and/or pressing buttons must be brought to justice...no matter how long it takes.

A dramatic Sky News report from sieged town of Chernihiv in Northern Ukraine: shelling and escape of the filming crew, short interview with a wounded driver. And his final phrase before he leaves for hospital.

Worth watching. But graphic.

The last words of the wounded paramedic before leaving to the Hospital: "Our country needs your help".

I really hope that the world will not let Ukraine down. They are not only fighting for their democracy and for their lives, but also for the world democracy and freedom.
