I believe that President Biden was right when he said that Russia is going to Invade Ukraine.

Any intelligent person is going to come to the same conclusion knowing that Russia has already decided to pay any price imposed on it by the West through sanctions.

Short of full military confrontation by the West there is nothing that can make Russia to change its mind as they see this as a golden opportunity to resurrect the once powerful superpower that was equal to the USA.

But Russia’s ambitions are not going to stop with taking over Ukraine since it already has made plans to increase its sphere of influence to Asia, Middle East, and South America and perhaps the whole World knowing that the West is most likely not going to do anything beyond just imposing sanctions which ultimately will hurt the West itself by effecting the Global economy in an adverse way the longer that they go on.

I personally don’t like any of the old ideologies, philosophies, and doctrines of Capitalism, Communism, Socialism, Religious Fundamentalism and all the other “ism” that are derived from the bad human characteristics of Greed, Lust, Hate, Cruelty, Jealousy, Prejudice, and lack of Empathy and that have been infringing on our rights in one way or another throughout the history because they can only exist through supporting inequality, oppression, suppression, torture, killing, and War.

When it comes to saving the World the last thing that I want to see is the further expansion of these old systems that have all already proven to be a failure in dealing with the existential problems that are currently facing Humanity and the Environment.

We don’t want all these political, Religious, and Racial parties and groups to resurrect their past, we want something new that can propel the World into the next Era that is based on the Universal Principles and Values that have been derived through Logic and Compassion and not through Force and Violence.

By “We” I mean all the Intelligent, Righteous, and Peace loving people of the World.

"Courageous Russians are not only taking to the streets in Moscow and St. Petersburg to demonstrate against the war in Ukraine. Also in West Siberian Novosibirsk, generally a "rebellious" city, there were protests today with "No to the war" calls."

And so Russia is worried about their security if Ukraine becomes part of NATO which is going to bring NATO even closer to Moscow.
Russia worried about their security? Are you serious? Who is going to attack Russia? Nobody.
Ukraine is a sovereign country and has the right to enter NATO if they want. That would piss off Putin, but looking what's happening right now, it seems that Ukraine had some reason willing to join NATO. Now it's being invaded, mass bombed and sieged by Putin's army.
By the way, Putin's propaganda saying "Russia never started a war in their history" "Russia never invaded another country" just false propaganda. Stalin did invade Poland together with Hitler. They both started ww2.
Another of Putin's propaganda. He likes to go back in history and say that Ukraine never has been a country and it has been part of the Soviet Union.
So, why don't we go back a bit more in time? Ukraine is a country of 1,000 years history. Kiev was a big city while Moscow was just a small village and Russia didn't exist.

looks like Putin is attacking the largest nuclear power plant
right now

Maybe that's part of this:

Terrifying Putin Phone Call Warns ‘Worst Is Yet to Come’

French President Emmanuel Macron held a 90 minute phone call instigated by President Vladimir Putin Thursday in which any hopes to call off the war were quickly extinguished.

After hanging up, Macron–one of the few world leaders still taking the Russian leader’s calls—felt simply, “the worst is yet to come.”

The call came as a cavalcade of increasingly crazy stories emerged from Moscow which signaled Putin was becoming ever more isolated and willing to lash out at Ukraine and his own people.

In the Kremlin readout of the call, Putin promised the “special military operation will be fulfilled in any case,” referring to the invasion in less than accurate terms. “Attempts to gain time by dragging negotiations will only lead to additional requirements for Kyiv in our negotiating position,” Putin said. Macron, for his part, tried to convince Putin that his plans to “denazify Ukraine,” using vintage Soviet terminology, is “a lie” and “an insult to the history of Russia and Ukraine, to the memory of our elders who fought side by side against Nazism.”

Putin, who denied shelling Ukrainian cities even as they were being bombarded during the call, was clearly unmoved by the argument.

Afterward, an aide to Macron told reporters: “The expectation of the president is that the worst is to come, given what President Putin told him... There was nothing in what President Putin told us that should reassure us. He showed great determination to continue the operation.”

"The Russians in front of #Ukraine |s Zaporižžja nuclear power plant.
There are currently 4 1000 MW/blocks running, 2 in reserve.
I'm trying to anticipate what's going to happen next..."

Reactors 2 and 3 are confirmed to have been safely shut down.

Sorry man... But that's just bullshit. Russia won't even cease fire during negotiations. How can you blame all sides equally?

One defending their homes and family, the other killing women and children for no reason... In a perfect kumbaya world... Maybe... The west may have pissed off Putin but....

There is only one responsible and only one who should be held accountable for the invasion and destruction of Ukraine.

There's only one side killing civilians to satisfy their hunger for more territory. The other side is fighting for their right of existence. No comparison given the circumstances.

Again, history is repeating. There are numerous of reasons why WW2 happened. I've never heard anyone sane stating both (multiple) sides were equally to blame.

Can't justify invading a country and going to war just because you're butthurt.
Sorry for the delayed response, I just got back home.

I don't want anyone to misunderstand what I am saying here,

I am no fan of invaders and killers,

It might be too late now since things are getting escalated by the minute,

But the point that I am trying to make is that if NATO had taken the right steps to put Russia's mind at ease about NATO's expansion at the time when there was still a good chance for establishing peace in the region then maybe things wouldn't have gotten to the point that we are now have to be talking about Nuclear Armageddon.

Under normal circumstances perhaps you can't blame NATO for wanting to stand up for Ukraine's right to choose for themselves, but once there were 200,000 Russian soldiers surrounding the Ukraine's borders perhaps NATO should have readjusted its strategies based on the new realities on the ground and tried to calm Russia down by giving them some reassurances about their security concerns which might have prevented all these bloodshed that we are seeing now.

Anyway this is just my analysis of this situation, everyone else is welcomed to give their analysis of these events as they see them, but those who don't have the brain power to come up with an original analysis of their own and only know how to parrot what others are saying in the social media are not going to be allowed to muddy up the discussions here by making this a personal matter about their own ego.

If you don't agree with someone's analysis of this situation then come up with a different analysis of your own that can shine a better light on the situation, but no one should be bullied into silence because that is only going to help those who want to keep Humanity in bondage win.

I agree, If NATO and Zelensky had backed off, there probably wouldn't be a war in Ukraine right now, Putin wanted NATO off his door step, they refused to leave, Zelensky poked his chest out at Putin, and here we are

my personal opinion below, sometime I use we, but actually it is only myself , may not make u guys (specially the western people) happy...FYI
1. we believe Nato eastward expansion is the key reason for this war...actually Nato decommit what they promised, they contine move forward from west to east..push Putin in the corner...if u have any knowledge of Geopolitics u wlll understand why Russia feel this is Critical problem....
2. we believe only US get most benefit so far: $ send back to US from for risk mitigation(Capital hedging), while EU get lots of pressure(Gas supply risk, refugee, ) and both R/U lost life..(I think the Biden adminstration is really shameless, just think their own interest...they just fanning the flames to serve their own agendas and interests...hypocirical, I hope I use correct word, means they lie, they cheat, for perform like a peace lover but actually just want earning the dirty money from the war...)
3. we feel bad if the war continue esclate, but we don't belive west should send more soldier/weapon to Ukrian... it just help the escalation..more people will die...(love and peace) (well the US war industry may happy with this....)
4. we dislike the double standard, while US/Nato bombed Iraq and other country( Syira, libya, Yemen, Palestine, Afghanistan ), no people talk love and peace, now, seems u guys become very soft-hart, talking peace and love, so cheap! I sure u know while US invade Iraq, how many people US army killed..and what kind a poor country US left there...(weapons of mass destruction ? a lie from US but a war in Iraq)....Iraq is far-far away from US, why you invade them? why US Army have the military base everywhere world wide? if u anti-war, simple, withdraw US force from those country worldwide, don't only anti-war from US/West perspective...it is too navie to face such a world...and too double standard and hypocritical
5. we also believe there is nazi inside Ukrian , they do lots of bad things in the east side (Crimean ..etc is this only propaganda from Putin, I don't know, but I see some reports..).we hate nazi. but seems some west people start to love them? I hope not.
6. we believe Putin manage his soldier very restrained , not like US army, while US army invade another country or engaged into a war, they will firstly bombed the whole city/road massively, lot of normal people been killed...but this time, I think Putin process his side's war in a very soft-way, I even cannot believe, it is not follow his persona at all, he should much bad/hard than today(I don't expect he do something bad, killing always not good). they only send 50000 soldier...and march so slow.

btw, people talking any country in the world has the right to choose its allies....it seems correct but not really, I give u a simple example, consider u and ur neighbour....assuming there is a fence bettwen your house and your neighbour house, in most case, whatever ur neighbout do in his side, is none of your business we all agree I believe....but, if someday, ur neighbour start everyday to have an noise party day and night, and u even cannot sleep, and u talk with him for years but the situation become even worse, what u will do? security is mutual...just like we do serious business via escrow or trusted platform, as we need mutual security..

anyway, no body like death, all love peace.......what a poor little blue planet...hope they can quickly close the war and life back to normal....hope there is no "post war" towards me in NP....

the core problem is
that the west is expecting
Putin is not stopping at Ukraine

if he succeeds next is Moldavia, Baltics States Polen and Germany

there is no reason to believe giving in would be a good idea for the world
that's why the world is united against Russias invasion

Just a thought i had, what if Zelensky said, Ok... we wont join NATO, and we had no war in Ukraine right now...
NATO is an excuse of the russian dictator to invade Ukraine. The dictator what really wants is to recover the Soviet Empire.
Also, Putin cannot manage that a free country like Ukraine becomes really free, with free elections and a real democracy. He was comfy to have a puppet government in Ukraine forever, like what it is right now Belarus.
But when Ukrainians wanted to have a free country with really free elections, then Putin saw it as a lost of influence, and as he is a dictator, he hates a free country like Ukraine near him.
The russian dictator now says that Ukrainians that do not support him, that ukrainians that want a free country with free elections, are nazis. No man, nazi is who invades a country, nazi is who shells innocent civilians with a rain of bombs. Hitler did it once, invaded, sieged and bombed Ukraine, now Putin is doing the same.

but, if someday, ur neighbour start everyday to have an noise party day and night, and u even cannot sleep, and u talk with him for years but the situation become even worse, what u will do?

the problem here is:
you can't burn your neighbor's house just because of your paranoia
expecting them to do evil

Hitler did it once, invaded, sieged and bombed Ukraine, now Putin is doing the same.

in Germany we can't see a difference between those 2 aggressors no more

both mad and evil guys
who are doing damage to the world

again:
you all never forget Hitler's actions when talking to me

so why should not all Russians be equally responsible for Putin's action as I am in your eyes for Hitler's?
The difference is: they live now and can act now - I was born after the war ends. No choice left.

NATO is the excuse of the russian dictator to invade Ukraine. What he really hates is having a free country like Ukraine having free elections, wanting to embrace other free countries like the EU and not wanting to be ruled by any dictator anymore.
By the way, are you aware that you are living under a dictatorship? Because that's what is Russia right now. No free elections, the dictator managing all media, closing every tv or media that even says one word against him, jailing people just for talking against him, for protesting against war. Not to mention what he does to the people who dares and try to offer a political alternative to Russia.

3. we feel bad if the war continue esclate, but we don't belive west should send more soldier/weapon to Ukrian... it just help the escalation.
Sure. What you want is to let the Ukrainians without any self defense, so Putin's army can invade freely Ukraine and kill every ukrainian facing the invasion.
What you want is to let ukrainians totally defenseless so your dictator can invade their country swiftly and easily, but what happens is that ukrainians don't want to be ruled by a dictator anymore. They are fighting for their country and their freedom. And your dictator is invading their country, killing their people and mass bombing and sieging ukrainian big cities. Same as Hitler did. All dictators are the same and do the same things at the end of the day.
