.tv WordPress.tv

Just came across WordPress.tv.
Not only is the site itself a good idea, but they've decided (and rightly so in my opinion) to host it on a .tv domain.

I can imagine a number of site owners use WordPress, but dot not have much idea about domains- so this may mean more exposure for the .tv extension. Perhaps bloggers may see this as a good excuse to buy a .tv and start a vlog.

Yeah, i'd say around 50% of all TV Ads now have a .tv domain in the UK. IMHO

This is one of the things that makes us realize how .tv is getting used to a different extent in UK /Europe compared to US, as US owners still say they do not see many .tv's developed unlike in UK where they are everywhere.

This is really a great development for the extension!

I was thinking of using the "remedy" Wordpress theme to develop one of my .tv channels. It seems to be a great fit for .tv

In that thread i was a little more conservative though and said 25-50%, i'm sure more UK based members can back up this fact.

A dot-teevee domain lets people know in an instant that you're working with video, and marks your content out as something akin to the TV channels everyone's familiar with, regardless of their experience of the web
