The new weekly domain sales report is out at DNJournal.com. However, this week the big news is not .coms, ccTLDs or non .com gTLDs – it is Women in Domaining! On Monday we posted a new Cover Story - Women For the Win! How An Influx of Talented Female Professionals Is Transforming the Domain Industry For Good – about the rapidly rising number of successful women who are making their mark in all areas of this once male-dominated business. Now, just 48 hours later, the top two spots on our latest weekly all extension Top 20 Sales Chart went to female domain investors ( IIlze Kaulins-Plaskacz and Anna Bastian). They both scored with .coms (with a pair of sales that totaled six figures) and the .coms wound up taking 13 of the 20 chart entries, however the ccTLDs had an outstanding week as well. They took three of the next four spots (and six places overall) with a group that included one of the year’s five biggest country code sales to date.
