Wix.com vs Dan.com

I use my own beautiful landers for $9 per month at wix.com, which has thousands of beautiful designs to choose from.

I did not sell a single domain on dan.com but had a lot of headache with fake buy it now transactions.

I can create custom landing pages on GitHub, and use them on all my domains for free.
Why would I pay $9/month to wix?
